It is often said that the main ruiner of the relationships between a family

members is the generation gap. But the others believes that it is not a such
a big problem. From my point of view, the generation gap have both pros
and cons. And can be solved in different ways
To start with, what is the generation gap? It is the differences in thoughts,
actions, personal attitude towards life and tastes between members of the
younger generations and the older ones. As a result, we simply can't
understand each other sometimes. Adults do not take kid's problems
seriously, they use their age as an excuse towards teens and sometimes
they are rude. Meanwhile, the young ones do not respect older people
properly, they can also be impolite and think a little too much of theirselves.
So exactly these cons resulted in a problems between parents and their
children. They simply can't find a solution because of the generation gap.
Nowadays, that problem is one of the biggest one in families.
On the other hand, the generation gap is not a big problem for those, who
truly love their relatives. It is even can be an interesting experience.
Through the all misunderstandings between the two generations, isn't it is
fun to learn each other's visions of the life or how their opinions are
different from yours? By spending more time with your family you can find
out what can you and your relatives do to prevent the generation gap to
turn into a obstacle in your relationship. When it comes to these pros,
nothing could ruin the relations in your family.
Last but not least, healthy relationships are the solver of all problems. If
every person respect and love their family member, then obviously they will
find a solution to all misunderstandings. If adults treat the younger ones like
themselves and if teens respect the older ones, the generation gap will
disappear from ours society. But that also need a hard work from both
sides of the age border.
All things considered, family relations are different for every family.
Someone can find it difficult to understand their child, while the other one
think it's so easy to get on with their parent. So the generation gap can be
both solved and unsolved, depending on your family. However, my
personal opinion is that age difference is nothing compared to the love and
respect.
