PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE: Daragueño Learners’ Participation in the 2024 Cluster B

Meet

II. BENEFICIARIES : Pupils of Daraga North District for SY 2023-2024 who were
Municipal Meet winning athletes and will represent the Municipality in the upcoming
2024 Cluster B Meet

III. OBJECTIVES :

1. Provides training and KSAs toward sports activities through district and school
sports program.
2. Be able to select potential athletes to compete and represent in the
municipal/cluster and higher meets.

IV. RATIONALE

Participation in sports events is a great way to gather people to do

something challenging and fun-filled activities, especially after more than 3 years of
pandemic where pupils confided in their respective home and families. Through
sports, pupils meet new people and forge friendships, and strengthen the sense of
sportsmanship and camaraderie that could be adopted in the respective school or
community they live in this time of new normal. Plus, it promotes an active lifestyle
which is good for the health of everyone and enhances skills and talents. That is
why all pupils are encouraged to engage in at least one or more sports and promote
the institutionalization of school sports.

In adherence to entitled Cluster Meet B 2024, pupils in the elementary,

coaches, chaperons and other teachers concerned in the Municipality of Daraga will
participate in said sporting event comes February 1-3, 2024 with the theme "Sports
Engagement a Key to Lifelong Fitness and Values Development" Aforesaid activity
will be conducted at Albay Provincial Sports Complex (APSC), Guinobatan ,Albay and
other playing venues .
 This activity aims to select the best athletes, coaches, and sports officials who
will represent SDO Albay in the forth-coming 2024 Palarong Panlalawigan.

In this regard considering the in-availability of funds of most schools as well

as the unexpected early implementation of sporting events after the pandemic is humbly
proposed through 2024 Special Education Fund (SEF) to cover expenses of the
Municipal Delegation and, prior to the Cluster B Meet and reimbursement on foods,
transportation, and uniform of athletes.

Below are the different sports events to be participated by the Daraga North
District athletes live -in activities for 3 days and 2 nights, to wit:
