Please write down two activities/exercises from each Method:

• Classical Method
1. At home, translate the instructions of a beauty product to L1 without making
the effort to understand L2.
2. At class as a teacher, students must translate a fable from their language into
the target language to understand it.
• Direct Method
1. Use the target language to borrow an object in class.
2. Use the target language to give directions to specific places.

• Audiolingual Method
1. The teacher can introduce the topic through a colloquial conversation
afterwards, the student will recognize some collocations.
2. Watch a movie without subtitles then watch it with subtitles to recognize the
pronunciation of each word.

• Cooperative learning
1. The students form teams to perform a play, they choose a group leader so that
they can organize themselves together.
2. Students form groups to play random questions, each correct answer is a
point, at the end the points are added to obtain a winner.

• Content- centered education


1. The teacher performs scientific activities such as experiments to demonstrate
how a volcano works.
2. The teacher performs physical activities to give movement instructions.
• Task- based learning
1. Students must complete online activities on the liveworkshets page.
2. Students must prepare a presentation to explain their favorite dessert.

• Communicative language Learning (CLL)


1. Students must use the target language to communicate their opinions about a
specific topic.
2. Students must form groups and communicate to find the solution to a
problem, for example: How to take care of the environment?

• Total Physical Response


1. Use body movements to dance to a song in English
2. Use body movements to indicate the parts of the human body.

• Natural method

1. The teacher teaches the name of the animals through puppets.


2. The teacher teaches vocabulary from school materials using the student
materials.
