MINUTES OF THE MEETING

The meeting was called to order at exactly 1:30 in the afternoon January 12, 2024.

Preliminaries:
Prayer: Sctr. Licel Quilala
Pambansang Awit: Sctr. Joey P. Dela Cruz
Pledge of Allegiance: Sctr. Alfie Aguilus
Scout Oath and Law: Sctr. Ejay Soriano
Mission and Vision: Sctr. Andrealyn M. Quiambao

After the preliminaries a message was given by the Council Training Commissioner
Sir Allan S. Gumangan. Followed by another message from the Division BSP
Coordinator Sir Roderico B. Cayanan.

After the Opening Remarks the Council Program Commissioner Sir Mark Anthony
Viray presided the meeting.

Membership
Membership campaign per district already started. According to our SCE Ma’am Alicia
P. De Leon, the Director from the CLR said that the Council reached twice the
number of the quota given by the National Office a year ago.

Proposed Activities
Different activities that we’ve been conducted like the Scout Rally,
KID/KABsayahan were discussed too and been reviewed to reflect on what went
well and what went wrong. To sum it up the following activities were successfully
conducted.

24th Provincial Scout Jamboree -scheduled on February 20 to 25, 2024 at

Floridablanca Natioanal Agricultural School, San Ramon, Floridablanca,
Pampanga with the theme: “75 Banwang Mikakalugud, Misaup-saup at
Misasanmetung para karing Kayanakang Kapampangan”.

Requirements for the 24th Provincial Scout Jamboree:

1. Registration Form
Includes the Parental and Medical Form of the Participants
2. Registration Fee - Php700.00
Inclusions – T-shirt, Neckerchief and certificate
The campsite is divided into 4 Subcamp. Represented by their “Congressional
District”.
Activities in every module will be given per Subcamp.

Here are some of the proposed activities for the Boy Scouts Section:
 1. Cultural Night – Each district will showcase the colorful and meaningful
festival from their town. A minimum of 15 participants per district.
2. That’s My Scout 2024 – Search for the Cute and Talented Boy Scout from
every Subcamp.
3. Camp Chief Night – each District will present the best delicacy from their
town to the Camp Chief.
4. Laro ng Lahi
5. Scout Quiz Bee
6. Cultural Cook Fest

Recommendation for National Awards

Recommendation for Bronze, Silver, Gold awards to the National Office must be
submitted to the Council on or before January 30, 2024. The recommended Adult
Leaders, School Head and Administrators must be registered Scouters.

Trainings/Activities
In conducting BSP activities in school/district the following requirements must be
met:
3. Letter request for approval from SDS properly signed by the requesting party
(Investiture/Overnight Camping/District Camporal/Kawan and Kid Activities)
4. Program starts at 3pm
5. List of participants or membership registration
6. Parent Consent (with template BSP Kapahintulutan ng Magulang)
7. Approved Letter from Barangay Council and Health Personnel for safety and
security (if overnight)
8. Request must reach the Council 2 weeks before the activity

Other Matters
The AUR (both hard and soft copy) was given to every BSP District Coordinators.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 in the afternoon followed by Scout Benediction
headed by the District BSP Coordinator Joanne Pangan Macapagal.
