LISTING INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION
The non-loadbearing Mada Gypsum suspended ceiling assembly comprises of double layers of 16mm Mada
Plus Fire Resistant (FR) Plasterboards screw-attached to the underside of the suspended ceiling assembly framing
system. The suspended ceiling assembly framing system consists of Mada Wall Angles, Mada Main channels and
Mada Furring channels.

The 60-minute suspended ceiling assembly has been tested in accordance with EN 1364-2:2018.
Full details of the assembly are available in the design listing ref. MGC/GBF 60-09.

FIRE RATINGS
Test Standard Rating Design Number
Integrity (E): 70 minutes
EN 1364-2:2018 MGC/GBF 60-09
Insulation (I): 69 minutes

Note: The fire rating is only valid with the Mada Plus Fire Resistant (FR) plasterboard layer exposed to the fire
from the bottom side with the mineral wool insulation layer on the non-fire side.

Field of direct application of test results:

1. The test results apply to ceiling of any dimension provided that the distribution of hangers is not reduced, and
the distance between the hangers is not increased. The distance between grid members and the load on the
hanger, shall not be increased.
2. The test results are valid for cavities of any height. The test results are applicable to ceilings suspended by
hangers of any length.
3. The test results are only applicable to the inclusion of cables. Pipes, etc. above the ceiling provided they are
installed in such a manner that they give no additional mechanical load to the ceiling.
4. The test specimen was tested without any fittings, so the final assemblies are not allowed to include any
fittings. Addition of any fittings requires further evaluation.
