100 Marks Project Guidelines
General Guidelines:
1. Report to your CR and to your reporting teacher and guide.
2. Find reference books and make notes.
3. Minimum 80% attendance to be maintained or project report will not be accepted.
4. The last date for submission of project report is 2.03.2024.
5. The date for the vivas will be announced later.
6. Students should use simple and good English while writing the report. Avoid grammatical errors.
7. No Copy Paste Allowed.
8. Important to include Bibliography, List of tables, Certificate from guide and acknowledgments.
9. The project will be evaluated on the basis of 60 marks for report and 40 marks for Vivas.

Guidelines for Topic and Report:


1. Topic should be chosen by you after discussion and consent of your guide.
2. There are two modes of preparation of project work :
a. Project work based on research methodology in the study area.
b. Project work based on internship in the study area.
3. The project topic may be undertaken in any area of Elective Courses.
4. Formatting guidelines for research based project:
a. Font type: Times New Roman , Font size: 12-For content, 14-for Title
b. Line Space : 1.5-for content and 1-for in table work , Margin : in Left-1.5, Up-Down-Right-1
c. The Project Report shall be bounded.
d. The project report should be 80 to 100 pages
5. Topic has to be registered with the CR on first come first serve basis on or before 16th December 2023 after
consultation and approval from guide.
6. No student shall attempt the same topic from the same Class.

7. Guidelines for Internship based project work


a. Minimum 20 days/ 100 hours of Internship with an Organisation/ NGO/ Charitable Organisation/
Private firm.
b. The theme of the internship should be based on any study area of the elective courses.
c. Experience Certificate is Mandatory .
d. A project report has to be brief in content and must include the following aspects:
i. Executive Summary: A bird’s eye view of your entire presentation has to be precisely offered
under this category.
ii. Introduction on the Company: A Concise representation of company/ organization defining
its scope, products/ services and its SWOT analysis.
iii. Statement and Objectives: The mission and vision of the organization need to be stated
enshrining its broad strategies.
iv. Your Role in the Organisation during the internship: The key aspects handled the
department under which you were deployed and brief summary report duly acknowledged by
the reporting head.
v. Challenges: The challenges confronted while churning out theoretical knowledge into practical
world.
vi. Conclusion: A brief overview of your experience and suggestions to bridge the gap between
theory and practice.
e. The formatting guidelines remain same but the project report should be of minimum 50 pages.
