We are Isha Hatha yoga teachers
certified from Isha School of Hatha
Yoga which delivers classical Hatha
Yoga in its full depth and dimension. It
is Sadhguru’s vision to offer this
ancient science in all its purity and
make it available to every individual.
As a step towards realizing this vision,
he has devised the Hatha Yoga
Teacher Training Program.

In this program, Hatha Yoga is taught


as a living experience in the beautiful
ashram setting of the Isha Yoga
Center, India under the grace of a
living master. Upon completion of the
program, we now have the privilege
and fulfilment of bringing this
knowledge to the world.

PREFACE
“Acharan” is a holistic
program which includes Daily
lifestyle changes, Guidelines
on Yogic food and a set of
simple yet powerful practices
that activate the joints,
muscles and energy system,
bringing ease to the whole
system. Based on a
sophisticated understanding
of the body’s mechanics,
“Acharan ” program will help

Within the human system, the


energy flows along 72,000
pathways called nadis. At the
joints, the nadis meet and
form nodes, making the joints
storehouses of energy. These
practices activates this energy
and also lubricates the joints,
creating an instant sense of
alertness and liveliness.

Research on Isha Practices
Upa-Yoga’s Effects on Students’ Mental Health & Well-
being during Covid-19

A recent study published by the “International Association


of Applied Psychology” measured the impacts of Online Isha
Upa-Yoga practices on university students’ mental health
during Covid-19. Students assigned to the intervention
group practiced Yoga Namaskar and Nadi Shuddhi for 12
weeks. The research shows that these practices offer
promising results in mitigating the negative impacts of
Covid-19 on undergraduate students’ mental health, while
improving their well-being.
