Examination Instructions

1. It is your responsibility to be present at the correct venue by latest 07:45.


2. If you arrive after examination have been handed out (08:00), you will only be
permitted to enter after the examination has started (08:15) and will forfeit the
time lost.
3. Unless otherwise directed by the invigilator, you must occupy the seat
assigned to you in alphabetical order.
4. You must remain silent from the moment the invigilator starts handing out the
question papers, until all question papers have been collected and count at
the end of the session.
5.1. You may not have any other electronic equipment in you possession.
5.2. You may not have any kind of book, paper, or notes in you possession.
5.3 You may not attempt to communicate or aid any other candidate.
Any attempt will result in you receiving an immediate “0” and a possible
disciplinary.
6. To attract the attention of the invigilator, remain quietly seated and raise your
hand.
7. You are only allowed to use the bathroom during an examination that is longer
than 2 hours. Therefore Grade 8 and Grade 9 may not leave the venue.
8. You re to remain in the venue until the allocated time for the examination has
lapsed.
9. You may only have the following stationary in you possession:
pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, calculator, highlighter.

Daily Routine

1. Report to you examination venue directly after arrival between 07:00 and
07:45.
2. Please be seated by 07:50 with only the allowed stationary on your desk.
3. Papers will be handed out at 08:00, reading time starts at 08:05 and the
exams will start 08:15
4. Learners are to go home directly after the exam.
5. Exam ASK sessions will take place between 11:30 – 12:30 on TEAMS on the
day before the exam unless otherwise scheduled by the relevant teacher.
