Investigating – Research:

1. Describe 5 factors that make a good interactive animation.

One of the 5 factors i thought about was duration, for example how fast
i) _____________________________________________________________________
and how well the animation moves. If you have a fast sound and a slow
_____________________________________________________________________
animation or a rough and not smooth movement it will not look very good,
another example is the animation and the characters not moving the way
_____________________________________________________________________
you would like it to.
_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________
Another of the 5 factors is character meaning if the character is appropriate
ii) _____________________________________________________________________
for the animation you are doing, for example if you are doing a cyber
awareness and your character is drawn as a hacker hacking someone
_____________________________________________________________________
else's account that wouldn't be the best thing
_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

Don't forget to engage your audience.if your animation is boring people

iii) _____________________________________________________________________
might just click o before even looking at the actual thing
_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________
Add some humour, just because it is a information animation doesn't mean
iv) _____________________________________________________________________
it can have humour otherwise its just kind of like those really long speeches
quite boring
_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

v) _____________________________________________________________________
And last but not least sound e ects just so you are not sitting in complete
silence.

2. Now that you have chosen your topic, in your own words, explain:

a) What you are creating.

_________________________________________________________________
I am creating a interactive animation that teaches yr 7s about how
_________________________________________________________________
online info is sent online
_________________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________

b) Who you are creating it for – your target audience.

_________________________________________________________________
This is targeted at yr 7 that are wanting to learn about how online info
is sent
_________________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________

_________________________________________________________________

c) What the purpose of your interactive animation is.

_________________________________________________________________
The purpose of this animation is to let people know the process of how
_________________________________________________________________
information can be sent online

According to Merriam-Webster, social media is defined as

“forms of electronic communication (such as websites for
social networking and microblogging) through which
users create online communities to share information,
ideas, personal messages, and other content (such as
videos).” The 2019 Pew Research Center report on social
media use in the United States showed that 72% of
American adults use some form of social media. In 2005,
the year after Facebook went live, that number was 5%.

What follows is an examination of the origins of social

media, its relatively rapid growth as a sociological and
commercial force, and the change it has brought to the
