Subject: Administrative approval and expenditure sanction of Rs. 4.50 lakh

for Construction of Office Canteen on Third Floor level at Directorate
of UD&PA Building, MINECO
Sir,
Tam tO state that Directorate of UD&PA had no proper canteen for
staff as well as visitors at this moment due to which the office faces various
inconveniences in this regard. In view of this, proposal for administrative approvgl
and Expenditure sanction for Construction of Office Canteen on Third Floor level at
Directorate of UD&PA Building, MINECO is hereby submitted.
The expenditure is debitable to the head of account:

Fund position:
Rs. 50.00 lakh is allocated in the Demand for Grants 2023-24. The
proposal is vetted by Deputy Director of AccOunts vide No. 89 of 2023-24 and the
expenditure including this bill is Rs. 34.49 lakh out of the allocation of Rs.50.00 lakh
during 2023-24.
, therefore, request you kindly to take necessary action for obtaining
administrative approval as well as expenditure sanction by Secretary, Urban
Development &Poverty Alleviation Department under item No. 12 of Delegation of
Financial Power Rules 1978, redelegated by Finance Department vide No.
G.17012/1 /2010-F.Est. dt. 18.11.2019 on which Secretary, UD&PA has Rs. 5.00 lakh in
each occasion with Annual ceiling of Rs. 35.00 Ilakh.
