Dear Alumni,
The Aurora’s P.G College,
Moosarambagh, Hyderabad
commenced its academic
journey way back in 1995.
Over the years it has grown
into a premier professional
college offering business and computer
education leading to award of MBA and MCA
degrees. So far the college has successfully rolled
out 18 batches of students. The alumni of this
college are working in over a hundred different
corporate, including several top notch ones all
over India and abroad. The college has now
become the natural destination for bright and
discerning students from all over India, due to its
unique teaching-learning methodologies, focus
on professional activities, quality placements and
all round grooming.
It is indeed a matter of pride and joy for
me to address you through this Newsletter. I am
sure you might be waiting to know about the
progress of your Alma mater. The objectives of
this newsletter are to encourage the building of
rapport, networking among us and most
importantly for us, to keep in close touch with
you and your activities. This is your college and
your association is the ideal platform to
reconnect with each other and also with your
beloved teachers. We shall be happy to hear
more from you about your progress and we look

I am delighted to reach you
out through the Alumni
Newsletter. As all of us are
aware, Aurora College is an
illustrious institution that
has positively shaped the lives of many aspirant
students.
The alumni of Aurora’s P.G College are
among the fortunate few who have had the
opportunity to blossom in a cosmopolitan
ambience amidst a rewarding academic
environment. Life at Aurora’s P.G College,
Moosarambagh campus is an invigorating
experience that paves the way for wholesome
development of personality. The inspiring
academic environment and care of the
experienced faculty and the competitive
atmosphere of extra-curricular activities nurture
the students to shine as leaders in their chosen
fields.
The alumni of Aurora are spread out
across the country, holding positions of

MESSAGE FROM ALUMNI COORDINATOR
Hello alumni and friends of
APGC! Spring is upon us,
temperatures are rising, birds
are singing and days are
getting longer. Things are
getting busy with the hustle
and bustle of students working hard to finish the
semester and faculty and graduate students
gearing up for field season amongst the many
activities that are going on here.
Alumni Relations is the primary
communications link between the APGC
Moosarambagh and our alumni. It is our goal to
encourage and foster lifelong alumni
participation, involvement, and commitment.
Over the next several months and years
it will be our goal to strengthen the bond
between the college and our alumni; to create
programs which match the interests and needs
of the alumni; to maintain and build upon the
positive relationships we have with our more
seasoned alumni; to increase the participation,
involvement, and communication with our
younger alumni; and to continue to serve as the
primary communications link between the
college and its alumni. Achieving these goals will
require a tremendous team effort, and it will be
important to enlist the assistance of college
administration, friends of the college and of
course…The Alumni!
2017 is an exciting time for APGC
Moosarambagh as well as a time of change. We
have to opportunity to review where we have
been and plan for where we would like to go as a
part of our academic program review. We also
say farewell to several longtime members of the
APGC team, but we look forward to the new
additions that will join us.

We were the first batch of students and it was
building blocks for us ….Learn and grown from
each other ,No seniors and the way we grew
academically was only through the Professors
who taught and helped us in every stage to
compete outside .
My Greetings to Mr Udpdhaya? The Then
Principal and other Professors in building
academic capabilities in each of us and Thank the
chairman Mr Ramesh for supporting us on
various Requests.

the closure of the day …it’s been great fun and
accomplishment all through …

Ours was the first batch -
Aurora got its first batch for
MBA in the year 1995. We
had a great principal in Mr.
Upadhyay and Secretary Mr.
N. Ramesh Garu. Getting into MBA was turning
point of my life.... Made some friends for life and
also it gave a very different perspective of the
world. Beginning of the Transition from boy to
man for me happened there.
Represented our college in many cultural
and inter collegiate competitions. Won the
overall championship for best college in 1996.
The management always had a great vision and
today we feel proud that our college is rated
among the best in Hyderabad.
That time the college was located in Chikadpally
building. Just outside was a bakery and in the
corner was Bharat Cafe. Remember those times
as it happened yesterday - Chai, chota
samosa, egg puffs.... They never tasted better
after our MBA was done. Time just flew.
Professional Background:
Had 17 years of corporate career. Mostly in
telecom. First job came my way after 8 months
of arduous hunt - was paid ₹ 2500/- per month.
It was an industrial product so worked at over 50
degrees temperatures for over a year.Didn't earn

money but earned experience equal to probably
10 years. Till that time wondered why everyone
insists on experience. After that one year,
understood why and life was never difficult. The
grind helped me to get a "never give up" attitude
on any situation. Went on to become one of the
youngest national sales head with Tata's at the
age of 30. The best time of corporate career -
rubbing shoulders with the who's who of the
company, your strategy becomes company
strategy in the national market, heading a
"huge" energetic team that is ready like an army
to charge in the market at one order.... I always
dreamt this when in college.
However, Seeds which were sowed
during my management education took the
better of me and 2 years back I took the plunge
to be an entrepreneur - corporate life didn't
interest me any longer and quest for building my
dream, doing something for the community at
large and being a facilitator to change the lives
for the better for at least 100 families made me
take the path less travelled. Today we are in the
process of creating and building a national
entertainment brand (the first of its kind) which
shall be launched in the mid of financial year
2017-18? Maybe some young guns from our
college in current or future batches can be a part
of building the dream.
All in all, life has been such a great
ecstatic ride, thanks to foundation set during our
education days and major share goes to Aurora
PG College.

About Aurora: “An ocean

Besides having a good
system of education and good faculty, the
college gives a great exposure to the students by
conducting conferences and fests on a regular
basis. It has good infrastructure with good set of
books at the library. The faculty members are
very warm and welcoming and the best part is
the campus life. It is located in such a place
which can be reached very easily. One must
make the best use of the facilities provided by
the college in order to get exposure.
Apart from just studies, college gave
many opportunities to explore my ideas, talents
and interests. My experience at Aurora was so
good which gave, the students of our batch,
many long lasting memories. (Induction to
Farewell – At every event we enjoyed
participation)
It provided a good platform for
placements to the students which every student
dreamed to have. The experience in college is
great and it has an eminent learning experience.
As Alumnus to advice you, never follow
one’s path, lay your own because I believe that
every person is born with talent. Just Wake up
every morning with the thought that something
wonderful is about to happen. You should be
aware that successful people dream big, even if
the goal may seem extremely difficult to achieve.
Just dream big on your career. Some people
dream of great accomplishments, while others
stay awake and do them.

wonderful, from the day-one till
the last day it has been a dream
journey that I always wished for.
My academics were filled with

and of course fun. The faculty at Aurora has been

all we study during the course which in-turn has

I did make a lot of friends including my seniors as

It has been six months Since I
have joined Amazon as a finance
analyst. I would like to thank
Aurora for making me capable to

work environment is good my
colleagues are well supportive.
My college days are unforgettable, those days
are happy days in my life. I enjoyed myself a lot
when I was in Aurora PG. College. I have learned
a lot from my Lecturer’s. Whenever I was wrong
they corrected me. They used to be very friendly
with us. We used to have competitions. No
matter whether we win the competition or not,
but they used to tell us participation is very
important. Lecturers of Aurora College were very

from my experience, Aurora has

communication skills and technical knowledge.
Trust me friends it has been the best journey of
my life. Aurora has helped me in securing a job
in one of the best corporate company. Aurora is
not only known for attendance and discipline,
but also conducts many extra circular activities
and management events like Vikraya Vedika,
Aharosthav and so on , these activities help us to
gain theoretical as well as practical knowledge

The college has provided us with enough

I feel very proud to be a part of

AERS external audit work
environment in Deloitte is really good
performance and behaviour is the key to success
in Deloitte. Taking a stroll down the memory
lane, I have a strong feeling from the bottom of
my heart that, in the end, it's all about the LOVE,
the SMILES and the TOGETHERNESS that we

Friendships were made and cherished, the

begins at Aurora as a lonely

ID and e-Pramaan based on authentic and
standard based interoperable and integrated
government applications and data basis. Digital
India initiative is an extended and transformed
version of e-Governance project which is in place
since mid-1990s. Various e-Governance projects
all over the country encompassing all the
government departments have not been able to
bring about desired results. Thus there was a
need felt by the current government to overhaul
the present infrastructure of e-governance plan
and also include additional objectives in the new
initiative. The Digital India Program is a flagship
Program of the Government of India with a
vision to transform India into a digitally

“Faceless, Paperless, Cashless” is one of
