Where do I find the My Templates folder Last updated January 1, 2024

Original Title: "Need HELP Finding My Custom PowerPoint Templates and Themes" Applies to:
Where do i find the My Templates and My Themes and My Colors folders on my Mac, I'm using
Office 2011 and Lion OX. I created some custom templates, I saved them in the folders (above), Microsoft 365 and Office /
but these folders are not visible. I have spent hours searching. Can anyone please help? Thanks! PowerPoint / For home / Windows

Hey Vai,

Unless you select a different location, the template is saved in

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Office/User
Templates/My Templates.
Since you are using Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion), the Library folder is hidden by default. To
show the Library folder, in the Finder, click the Go menu, and then hold down
OPTION.
Instead of telling our young people to plan ahead, we should tell them to plan to be surprised.

There are two Library folders.

The Library folder that has your templates is the one that's hidden. See Cody's
instruction on how to make that folder visible.
Be sure to include the version number and OS version when asking your question.
