3. Chose a problem first, and
then build a story around

while going for a
multidisciplinary problem. If
the case is for a small
competition or an individual
moot, generally very complex
subject areas are not

How long should it be? Or how
many issues can it have?
Drafters have the option of not explicitly

THINGS TO BE KEPT IN MIND
-Always, try your best to keep the sides balanced.
Equal arguments/facts should be in favor of both the sides.
-Relevant Facts could be:
1. Favoring a side.
2. Common to both, interpretable
3. Silent.
-Ensure that questions are open-ended and invite argumentation
-An ambiguous statement could be used as an interrptable fact. But, too
many of these would would make an extremely vague case
Remember that drafting a Proposition for a Moot Court
involves much more legal research than participating in
one!!
A drafter also needs to submit along with the Moot
problem, a bench memo consisting of all the possible
argumemts.
