Check list – to be used when elaborating drawings for authority approval and main drawings
Check lists must never be regarded as final lists, but are continuously revised and updated.

Scale: 1:50 or 1:100 depending on type and size of BUILDING

1 Contour lines indicating foundations, Draw up all 4 facades

2 Windows and doors to be drawn with
mullions, frames, crossbars etc.

level of walls, including all openings,
recesses and projections and top level
of chimney and air ducts.
4 Symbols or hatching for brickwork
(type depends on drawing tool: Revit
or hand)
5 Symbols for other surfaces – wood etc.
6 Symbol for roof covering
7 Drawing caption including such
information as: drawing numbering,
scale, date, client and subject.

9 Fixed and hinged windows Use dotted line to indicate which side the
window/door is hinged
