Examination Scheme: The examination scheme is a structured framework designed to evaluate the

academic performance of students in a systematic and comprehensive manner. It encompasses a


variety of assessment methods tailored to different aspects of the curriculum, ensuring a fair and
holistic evaluation. This scheme typically includes external and internal examinations for both
theory, practical, tutorial, seminar, and academic project components.

Below are the details required for the various category of evaluation.

Theory Examination: The total Marks will be 100. In which External Examination contains 70 marks
and 30 marks will be allotted to midterm examination.

 External Examination for Theory:


o A formal evaluation of theoretical knowledge conducted by the University.
o The Mode of Examination will be written.
o Total Marks = 70
o Duration of Examination: 3 HRs
 Mid-term Examination for Theory:
o An assessment of theoretical understanding conducted by the University during the
academic term.
o The Mode of Examination will be written.
o Total Marks = 30
o Duration of Examination: 2 HRs

Practical Examination: The total Marks will be 50. In which External Examination contains 30 marks
and 20 marks will be allotted to Internal Evaluation.

 External Examination for Practical:


o A formal evaluation of practical skills and application conducted by an external
examiner.
o The Mode of Examination could be verbal or experimental.
o Total Marks = 30
 Internal Examination for Practical:
o An assessment of practical skills and application conducted within the educational
institution during the academic term.
o Department should follow the continuous evaluation in 4 part. Whether each part
consists of 5 marks.
o Total Marks = 20
Assessment of Tutorial:

 An evaluation of student progress and understanding in tutorial sessions, often focusing on


interactive and discussion-based learning.
 Only Internal Evaluation is required through Quiz, Presentation, assignment etc.
 Total Marks = 50

Seminar:

 Only Internal Evaluation is required through Quiz, Presentation, assignment etc.


 Total Marks = 50

Case Study:

 Only Internal Evaluation is required through Quiz, Presentation, assignment etc.


 Total Marks = 50

Project:

 Project (Part I):


o Only Internal Evaluation is required through presentation, report submission, viva
etc.
o Total Marks = 50
 Project (Part II): Total Marks will be 100. Out of which 50 will be reserved for Internal and 50
for external examination.
o External Evaluation of 50 Marks.
o Internal Evaluation of 50 Marks.
o Mode of examination is through presentation, demonstration, report submission,
viva etc.
