Partner in your sustainable development
Since the inception of Grey Matters, It is committed to serving the
construction industry to increase the business and sustainable performance.
A few of our major solutions for harmonizing the environmental and financial
objectives to maximize the value are:

Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)

It’s an environmental label for your products that
demonstrates your sustainability commitment to
your clients and stakeholder and not only helps
you to standout and win more contracts in a
crowded marketplace, but also in being
prepared for stringent carbon regulations and
policies

Whole Building-Life Cycle Assessment (WB-LCA)

Building LCA is the most effective tool to
measure the life-cycle carbon emissions of any
construction project.
It is a mandatory part of regulations in many
countries. It is incorporated in several green
building certifications such as BREEAM, LEED,
etc.

Concrete Waste Management System (CWMS)

Our CWMS is a comprehensive system to
manage the solid waste and wash water
generated in a Ready-Mix concrete plant. The
benefits are “Demonstrating commitment toward
sustainability, Savings on waste removal, Added
savings from reuse of aggregate and water,
Better utilization of plant area, Improved
aesthetics”

GLOBAL CONCRETE: TOP 40 COMPANIES

1. China National Building Material

Like its namesake country, China National Building Material topped the global concrete
production rankings in 2021 by a sizeable margin. Its diversified concrete offering consists
of ready-mix and precast products. Headquartered in Beijing, China National Material
resulted from a merger between two similarly named entities (China National Building
Materials Group Corporation and China National Materials Group Corporation) in 1984.

Despite volumes growth, CNBM’s revenues from the
sale of concrete fell by 0.7% year-on-year to US$7bn, 120 72

This was partly due to a 0.9% drop in the company’s 100 60

For such a large producer, Cemex’s concrete geography is surprisingly dense: 707 of its

The Automating Concrete in Construction
