COMMUNICATIVE ● The students will be able to understand the different idioms of the series.
OBJECTIVE

TIMELINE / SESSION ● warm-up: 4 minutes

MANAGEMENT
 ● The teacher will give the students some cards with different idioms each card will have
three options as answers.
● The cards will be printed for this activity.

● The student who has the major cards will be the winner.
Activity: 45 mins

● The teacher will show a chapter of a series called The Office.

● episode 26- season 5 “It's the annual Dunder Mifflin company picnic and Michael”

After the video, the students will identify the idioms of the episode and they will

explain its meaning through a context.

● Next, the teacher will show the meaning of those idioms through a video.

● Practice: 20 minutes

● the teacher will divide the group into two teams, the students will imagine a
 context in an office and they will create a script using some idioms given.

● Production: 18 minutes

● The students will perform after each group will guess what the situation was

performed by their other classmates.

COMMUNICATIVE ● ORAL SKILLS: students will be able to perform a situation using idioms.
SKILLS INTEGRATION ● WRITTEN SKILLS: The students will be able to work with their classmates to prepare a
script using idioms.
