RESOLUTION APPROVING AND GRANTING THE ACCREDITATION OF BIFA-BACULUD IGUIG FARMERS

ASSOCIATION INC. AS CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION (CSO) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IGUIG,
CAGAYAN.

WHEREAS, Section 34 of the Local Government Code of 1991 (Book 1, Chapter 4) states that Local Government
Units shall promote the establishment and operation of people’s and non-governmental organizations to become active partners in
the pursuit of local autonomy;

WHEREAS, on June 15, 2022, the Department of the Interior and Local Government issued Memorandum Circular
No. 2022-83, on the Guidelines on the Accreditation of Civil Society Organizations and Selection of Representatives to the Local
Special Bodies;

WHEREAS, the BIFA-Baculud Iguig Farmers Association Inc., through its President has signified its intention to be
an accredited CSO in the Local Government Unit-Iguig, Cagayan to pursue an active partnership with the Local Government
Unit in the pursuit of local autonomy and nation building;

WHEREAS, the BIFA-Baculud Iguig Farmers Association Inc. has satisfactorily complied with the requirements and
criteria for accreditation as a Civil Society Organization in accordance with the procedures and guidelines set forth in DILG
Memorandum Circular No. 2022-83;

WHEREFORE, on motion of HON. RAUL B TRINIDAD, duly seconded by all members present, be it:

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Bayan to approve and grant the accreditation of
BIFA-Baculud Iguig Farmers Association Inc as Civil Society Organization (CSO) in The Municipality of Iguig, Cagayan.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that this accreditation is effective only until June 30, 2025;

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the Local Chief Executive Hon.
Ferdinand B. Trinidad and the Office of the Municipal Planning Development Officer Engr. Priscilla I. Brion for their
information and guidance.
