MINOR AILMENT (Collection at Alpro Pharmacy outlets)

Who will attend to the patient at the appointed pharmacy?


A: Registered pharmacist from Alpro Pharmacy will attend to the patient.

What is the procedure when I need to seek for treatment for my minor ailments from the pharmacy?
A: You need to present your NRIC / passport and medical card to the pharmacist for validation purposes and then the pharmacist
will assess your health condition accordingly.

Can the pharmacist issue Medical Certificate to the employees or their dependents?
A: No, Medical certificate will not be issued by the pharmacist. Only a qualified medical doctor can issue a medical certificate.

Do I need to pay for the minor ailment medication?


A: No. This is a cashless arrangement and the entitlement is subject to your company’s policy.

What if my medical limit is insufficient for the medication expenses?


A: The pharmacist will check your medical limit on the spot and inform you if your medical limit is sufficient or otherwise. If your
medical limit is insufficient, you may pay the remaining amount of the medication expenses or pay for the full amount.

Can I request for minor ailment medication on behalf of my friends/parents?


A: No. You are not allowed to request on behalf of your friends/ parents.

Will there be any consultation charge by speaking to the pharmacist in the outlet?
A: No. There will be no consultation charges when you consult a pharmacist.

Can I request for minor ailment medication on behalf of my dependents?


A: The dependent has to be present in the outlet.

What is the process for my dependents for minor ailment (collection at Alpro Pharmacy)?
A: Similar to employee process flow. However, the dependent has to be present at the pharmacy outlet.

How do I opt for the PILcube service?


A: The PILcube service is only applicable for long term medication supply and has to be requested via Doc2Us application.

SAME DAY DELIVERY MINOR AILMENT (via telemedicine)

Who will attend to the patient in the telemedicine platform?


A: Qualified medical doctor will attend patient in the telemedicine platform, Doc2Us.

What is the procedure when I need to seek for treatment for my minor ailments from the telemedicine platform?
A: Chat based will first be initiated via the platform. If there’s a need for video consultation, the online doctor will inform the patient
to switch to a video based consultation.

What is the cut off time to place a request?


A: You can consult the online doctor anytime from 10am to 10pm. However, any orders after 7pm will only be processed on the next
following day.

Can I request for a medical certificate?


A: Yes, e-medical certificate will be issued if this is necessary, you will need to download the e-version and submit to your company.

Do I need to pay for this service?


A: Consultation charges incurred from this will be parked under your medical entitlement. RM12.50 per e-consultation. The charges
will only be imposed if there’s a e-prescription generated.

Can I request for minor ailment medication on behalf of my friends/parents?


A: No. You are not allowed to request on behalf of your friends/ parents.

What is the procedure when my dependents need to seek for treatment for minor ailments from the telemedicine platform?
A: Procedure is similar to employee process flow. You will need to register into the Doc2Us application & to chat online with the
doctor via Doc2Us application.

Can I request for minor ailment medication on behalf of my dependents?


A: The dependent has to register separately and chat with the online doctor.

Do I need to pay for the delivery charges?


A: Yes. The delivery charge is based on the location of the client from the nearest pharmacy outlet. It will be deducted from your
medical entitlement.

How do I opt for the PILcube service?


A: The PILcube service is only applicable for long term medication supply and has to be requested via Doc2Us application.

LONG TERM MEDICATION

What if there isn’t any Alpro Pharmacy branch nearby my office or my home?
A: You may order your LTM using the mobile app, Doc2Us, and get your LTM delivered to your doorstep i.e. your office/home.

Will I be able to obtain the medication prescribed by the doctor from the panel clinic?
A: Yes. All the medication issued from the panel clinic can be refilled through Doc2Us Mobile App or walk-in to any nearest Alpro
Pharmacy branches after been screen through by the registered pharmacist.

Can I order Fridge Items (Eg. Insulin, certain eye drops etc.) via Doc2Us?
A: Delivery is not available for fridge items at this point of time. However, you have the option to obtain the supply of fridge items
from the panel clinic or walk-in to any of the Alpro Pharmacy branch.

When should I request for a refill for my LTM?


A: You should send in your request through Doc2Us mobile app between 7 to 14 days before your LTM runs out. Reminders will be
sent to you through Doc2Us, 7 and 14 days before your medication runs out.

How long does it usually take to deliver your long term medication?
A: Medications will be delivered to the requested area in 3 working days for West Malaysia or 5 working days for East Malaysia

How do I opt for the PILcube service?


A: The PILcube service can be requested in the process of checking out the order via Doc2Us application.

What is Doc2Us mobile app?
A: Doc2Us is a mobile application which provides a digital platform for patients to interact with health care professionals such as doctors and pharmacists through live chats.
Doc2Us is linked to Alpro Pharmacy for the dispensing and delivery of long term medication (LTM).

Where can I download Doc2Us mobile app?


A: Doc2Us mobile app can be downloaded via Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Mobile phones with the minimum requirement of Android 4.1 and iOS 9, or above, are
able to support the mobile app, Doc2Us.

Will my personal information and medical data be used without my consent?


A: All the personal data are only used for the purpose of medical consultation and medication supply. It will not be used for any other purposes without consent from the
member(s).

Are the doctors in Doc2Us registered under Ministry of Health?


A: Yes, all the doctors in Doc2Us are registered under Ministry of Health. You may verify the doctor’s registration number at http://www.mmc.gov.my/index.php/medical-
register

Can I consult the doctors using Doc2Us for emergency cases?


A: Doc2Us mobile app is strictly not for emergency cases. We strongly advise you to seek for immediate medical attention should you have any emergency medical condition.

Can I continue to seek consultation from the doctors through Doc2Us mobile app without going to a panel clinic?
A: Yes, however, we advise you to consult your panel clinic doctor at least once a year to review your medical condition.

What is the procedure to get a refill for my LTM through Doc2Us?


A: Firstly, you need to request chat with the online doctor and inform the doctor on your current health condition and existing medication. The online doctor will assess your
health condition by asking several questions. If your condition is well controlled and stable, the online doctor will prescribe you the medication requested with an e-
prescription. A prescription from the panel needs to be uploaded for the online doctor if there’s no claim history in the MiCare portal.

DOC2US
Can I choose to chat with a specific doctor?
A: No, you can only chat with the Doctor On Call denoted by the green dot at the profile of the doctor. Red dot indicates that the doctor is currently offline.

What should I tell the doctor when I am chatting with him/her?


A: A simple greeting will always be good to start with. It is advisable to inform the doctor the following information for them to assess your health condition:
i) Your current long term illness
ii) The type of medication and dosage that you are currently taking (e.g. once a day, twice a day etc.)
The doctor will then ask you several questions to assess whether it is suitable for you to continue the current medication. The doctor will prescribe you with your
medication accordingly if everything is well controlled.

What should I do if there are any changes in my existing LTM?


A: For changes in your existing medication/dosage, you will need to provide a prescription from the panel clinic, snap a photo and submit it through Doc2Us for
validation. You may also opt to obtain the new medication/dosage of LTM directly from the panel clinic.

Can I request a refill of medication on behalf of my friends/parents?


A: No, the request must be done using the respective account owner.

What is the consultation hour by the doctors through Doc2Us?


A: 10.00am – 10.00pm daily. (including Weekends and Public Holidays)

What is the maximum duration for LTM prescription through Doc2Us?


A: 1 month medication supply. However, if the prescription slip writes on a longer duration, it can be reused on the subsequent refill purposes.

When should I put in my request of medication?


A: 1 to 2 weeks before your medication depletes.

Do I need to pay for the delivery charges & what are the delivery charges for my medication
A: Free Nationwide Delivery for long term medication request.

How do I track my parcel?


A: The status of delivery will be updated in your Doc2Us account. You will receive a notification from Doc2Us when your parcel has been dispatched from Alpro
Pharmacy and when the parcel has been received by the recipient.

What should I do if I have not receive my medication after 5 working days?


A: Please contact Alpro Pharmacy’s dedicated help-line at 013-2862923 from 10.00am-10.00pm.(including Weekends/Public Holidays)

If my parcel is lost, will I get a refund or replacement for my medication?


A: Yes, you will get an option to either cancel the order or obtain a replacement for your medication. If you choose to cancel your order, the medication charges
and the courier charges will be credited back into your medical entitlement. If you choose for a replacement for your medication, your order will be re-sent within
2 working days.

What if there is no one at home/office to receive my medication parcel?


Courier company will drop a card at your mailbox to inform you about the delivery. You should contact the number given in the card, and arrange for either self
pick-up at the courier company branch or request for a second delivery. Otherwise, your medication parcel will be returned to Alpro Pharmacy. Alpro Pharmacy
will contact you on your preferred delivery method to resend your medication or you may walk-in to any Alpro Pharmacy branch to obtain your medication.

What are the expected delivery hours?


A: You will receive your parcel during working hours day for the courier company

Are there any verification documents that I need to bring along to collect my LTM at the pharmacy?
A: Yes, please bring along your NRIC or Passport when you collect your medication.

Can I appoint someone to collect my medication on my behalf?


A: No. This is to ensure your medication safety and privacy.

Can I collect the medication on behalf of my dependents?


A: No. This is to ensure your medication safety and privacy. For dependents below 18 years old, the parents/official
guardians should be present together with the dependent(s) for collection of medication.

Where can I locate any nearby Alpro Pharmacy outlets?
