Prepare foam applicator. Connect nozzles to the fire hoses and to the foam component.
12. Aim such devices toward the outside of operations in such a way to avoid problems in case
of sudden opening of valves

13. Turn on deck lights in the operation area, direct them downward

The following equipment is available: large axe, jemmy bar, wire plier, red and white light
signalling flashlight, first aid kit, adjustable wrench, Fire blanket, cutters, bolt, 60 cm,
14. hook, grab or salving, hacksaw, heavy duty complete with 6 spare blades, ladder, lift line 5
mm diameter and 15 m in length, pliers/Plate cutter side-cutting, set of assorted
screwdrivers and harness knife complete with sheath.
15. Make sure that fire party members wear fireman outfit, helmets

16. Means of escape from the area are clear of obstructions

17. The Officer in charge has read the ICS “Guide to Helicopter ship Operations
