avoided Woon-ho for the sake of her best friend. But her best friend tells that she is
willing to sacrifice Woon-ho for their friendship. Bora had the chance to apologize for
what she have done to him and she also confess her true feeling to Woon-ho before he
leave. They remain in touch, but she suddenly stopped getting an email from Woon-
ho. She misinterprets him, thinking he ghosted her, and experiences heartbreak as a

The Side of Woon-ho: Woon-ho is the first one who gets interested to Bora where he
started noticing all the unpredictable things she would do. He always the capture
every beautiful scenery of Na Bo-ra. He write a letter to confess his feeling to Bora
and tell her that he need to go back to New Zealand. But he hasn’t able to give it to
her because Bora started to avoid him. The reason why Woon-ho stopped sending
emails to Bo-ra is because he passed away.

One day, Bora was confused as to why she had not received another email from
Woon-ho. She waited for so long and still hoped that Woon-ho would return. The
ending turns out, he was indeed ready to return to Seoul, Korea for his further studies,
exactly as he and Bo-ra had planned, but Woon-ho died. The film does not go into
great detail about his death, but Bo-ra finally receives closure after all these years. It
concluded with a tragic finale because Woon-ho died. They never got the chance to
continue their blossoming relationship and were unable to be together again.

Introduction:
The story takes place in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, in 1999. The
film focuses on Na Bo-ra, a 17 year old high school student with a charismatic and
cheerful personality. Her closest friend, Yeon-du, has become attached to a popular
man by the name of Baek Hyun-jin. Bo-ra makes a promise to her best friend that she
will follow Baek Hyun-jin and find out everything about him. Bora collects
information about Hyun-jin through the help of Woon-ho, who is Hyu-jin's best
friend. Meanwhile, Bo-ra discovers she has begun to fall in love with Woon-ho, who
has developed feelings for her as well.

Conflict:
Bora’s best friends returns to Korea after successful heart surgery in the US. Bora
Found out that the real 'Baek Hyun-jin' whom Yeon-du loves is actually Poong Woon-
ho. She was in the situation choosing between love and friendship. She Bora is a loyal
as well as protective to her best friend and she doesn’t want to hurt her best friend’s
feeling, Bora started to avoid Woon-ho and decided to end their blossoming
relationship. They ending up with a lot of tears for the both of them throughout.

Climax:
Yeon-du discovered that Na Bo-ra and Woon-ho are in love with each other.
Yeon-du confront Bora and asked; why Bora didn’t tell the truth to her. They had a
misunderstanding due to one guy. Na Bo-ra explained everything including her
reasons. Yeon-du, whose been crying, says she is willing to compromise with Woon-
ho because she wants to maintain their friendship.
Denoument:
Meanwhile, Woon-du is getting ready to move back to New Zealand to be with
his mother and little brother. With the help of Yeon-du and Hyu-ji, Bo-ra arrives at
the train station just in time to apologize and confess her feelings to Woon-ho before
they part ways. Woon-ho make a promise to Bo-ra that he will return. They keep in
touch through sending emails with each other.

Ending:
One day, Bora was confused as to why she had not received another email from
Woon-ho. She waited for so long and still hoped that Woon-ho would return. Bora
grows older as she attends university and matures. Then she found out that Woon-ho
passed away all those years ago. As the film concludes, Bo-ra watches a video created
by Woon-ho depicting their moment together.
