Job Description

 Performs cost control functions for additional facilities for the steel plant and various works
necessary for plant maintenance
 Estimates budgetary cost for plant expansion facilities needed for the plant operation.
 Issue out tender notices for the additional plant facilities and participates in the contractor
interviews & qualification process.
 Participate in tender technical clarifications, commercial negotiations and finalization of works to
award to contractors.
 Performs post contract administrative functions after contracts are awarded until work completion
and finalization of accounts.
 Coordinates with purchasing for procurement of equipment for the plant from generation of
requisitions, follow up issuance of orders and monitor delivery schedules.
 Oversee and supervise plant store personnel in their functions (inventory, receiving of deliveries,
material issuance and monitoring)
 Prepare detail works schedules for maintenance works during main plant shutdowns

Job Description

 Implements planning, scheduling, progress forecasting and project coordination works.


 Develops and monitors project schedules, depicting the sequence of events, dependencies, and
interfaces of activities to clearly illustrate the strategy of the program to meet the requirements of
the Program Master Schedule
 Performs various cost control functions for the project.
 Initialization and setting up of standard cost of accounts and estimated budgets for each
accounts.
 Monitors and tracks costs for various construction activities and make comparisons on actual cost
commitments (i.e. equipment purchased, site works contracts issued for different disciplines such
as Civil and Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation, other project running
cost) against the budgeted provisions as project progresses.
