ROOM - EARLY MORNING
(Sana sleeping in her room)
While sleeping Sana was sweating from head, suddenly she
crotched, took a deep breath and woke up.
Sunrise time lapse,

INT. SANA[PLEASEINSERT\PRERENDERUNICODE{ÂĂŹ}INTOPREAMBLE]S
ROOM (MORNING)
Sana washed her face set her bed (put pillows on right
place), cleaned her room. Then went to kitchen to have some
water, after drinking water she headed to dining room.

INT, DINING ROOM (EVENING)

Sana entered the dining room and said:
SANA
“Mamma I want tea, please can you
make me a tea”
After asking this from her mamma, Sana sat down on sofa. She
got no answer from her mother though she ignored the
situation and started using her cell phone. Everyone was
sitting in dining room her father, her mother, her brother
but no one was talking or interacting with each other though
they all were busy in using their gadgets.
Her father was using his tablet, busy in listening and
watching the news related to pandemic and lockdown
situation, having ear pods in his ears.
Sana’s mother was watching cooking show with earphones
connected to her cell phone.

Her brother was playing PUBG in his cell phone while talking
with his friends in game, team mic connected with headphone.
Everyone was so damn busy in their cell phones that they
don’t care about what’s happening around them. Unfortunately
if someone die they still don’t get to know about it as they
are that busy in their gadgets.
Sana was noticing them all with anger and she realized at
the moment that everyone was busy in their own world.
Sana said to her brother:

SANA
Saad go and bring fresh bread from
market

But Saad who is busy in playing game, busy in discussing

winner winner chicken dinner with his friends. As headphones
were on his ears he didn’t listened to a single word Sana
said to him.
Sana once again said in a louder voice

SANA
“SAAD”
Once again Saad didn’t listened to a single word not
responded her.
Because of this Sana throws a pillow at him so that he
listen to her.
SAAD
Why you suddenly become wild? Can’t
you speak calmly?

SANA
“Have said many times patiently,
but you weren’t listening at all.
You would have listened if you were
not that busy in your game”

SAAD
“Ok! What’s the main thing tell me
faster, my game is going on”
Sana looking at him with anger and said

SANA
“Keep yourself busy in game, I’ll
go by myself”

SAAD
“Yeah sure! Go go please”

Sana while being shocked and realizing what did he just said
SANA:

SANA
“Mamma Baba! Look at him how he is
behaving with me and not listening
to me either”

Mother who is busy in her phone, Father who is busy in his

tablet didn’t listen to her and once again Sana’s point was
ignore by them and she didn’t get any answer from them.

SANA
“No one is listening to me, what’s
there in these silly little cell
phones”

And one more time Sana didn’t get a single response from
anyone and sit down on sofa in tension.
Sana’s cell phone rings

SANA
“Hey Neha! How are you?
I am good, what about you?
How you remembered to call me in
lockdown?
No, result isn’t announced yet
Ok! Let me check mine”
After a call she checks her result and with happiness she
exclaimed
SANA
“Yay! Mama Baba my result is being
announced”
Mother with earphones look at Sana and thinks she is just
angry and creating a scene, making noise. Then mamma removes
her earphones and said:

MOTHER
Sana what’s wrong with you, Can’t I
use phone in calm way?

Mother while plugging in earphones again and looking into

the mobile said:
MOTHER
“Don’t make noise, sit down calmly”

SANA
ok! Use your cell phone”
Sana says in anger.

SANA
“Except cell phone there’s nothing
left in life”

CONTINUED: 4.

Sana locking and unlocking her cell phone then put her hand
on her forehead as she is so tensed. Sana stands up, going
out from dining room and suddenly stops at dining room’s
door.

SANA
“Baba I am going to make tea, will
you have some?”

But she didn’t get any response from her father. She goes
out from dining room while making confused face. On other
hand her father started watching talk show but due to
loading his show stopped. Because of loading he is removing
his ear pods while saying:
FATHER
“Sana my child, please make a cup
of tea”

Again he plug in his ear pods after saying this to Sana and
continue watching his show.

INT, KITCHEN (EVENING)

Sana come into kitchen opens a shelf and take out kettle
from shelf, opens a milk pack and pours milk in kettle, than
take out a tea from shelf and pour it into the kettle. And
gets busy in making tea. Meanwhile she listens some kind of
sound.
(Jump sound)
Sana looks backward and said

SANA
“Who’s there? Saad are you going
somewhere?”
She again gets busy in making tea and didn’t get any answer
from Saad.
SANA
“Baba Saad please go and check may
be there is someone.”

Sana once again gets no response though she takes out cup
from shelf and comes out from kitchen while saying
SANA
“I have to look at my own”

CONTINUED: 5.

The moment Sana comes out she sees that from front. Three
thieves are coming, one puts hand on Sana’s mouth Sana tries
to yell and moves her hand in order to pick something and
suddenly something comes in Sana’s hand and hit it on
thieves head and gets fainted. The moment she turns around
2nd thieve comes from backside, Sana hit him by her hand
while yelling but she get injured on hand and moving his
hand in pain. The thief in return of her hit slaps her and
she gets fainted.

DIP TO BLACK
Cupboard opens,
Third thief stoles everything from cupboard,
One thief holding Sana’s hands, pulling her on floor while
moving towards bedroom and then throw her on bed.
While thieves were stealing Sana becomes conscious, till
than thieves have stolen everything and were murmuring in
between them let’s go but one of them said:
“Yes let’s go,

THEIF
but what about her?”
2nd thief comes to Sana and pull out her gold chain from
Sana’s neck. Sana keeps yelling that may be someone from his
family listens to her voice but unfortunately no one listens
to her voice as they were too busy in their mobile phones
with headphones. On the other hand thief also takes out
Sana’s mobile phone from her pocket and her ring from her
finger and Sana was left yelling unable to do something.

Transition
(Dip to black)
Montages:
Clock, Boiling Tea, Slippers, Flowers on Floor

INT, DINING ROOM (EVENING)

Father while removing his ear pods says

FATHER
“Sana where are you? Have asked you
for tea, it’s been a long time”
Meanwhile thieves comes out from room and headed outside the
house faster.
Sana’s father stands up, went out from dining room to see

Sana leaving his ear pods there after him Sana’s mother also
go out after her husband. Seeing father mother both are
going out from dining room Saad also stands up and followed
them.

FATHER
“Sana what happened?”

Mother: “Sana are you alright? What happened?”

SAAD
“Say something sis”

Sana looks at them still and steady, their voices were

irritating her and slowly those voices were changed to a
cooker’s whistle for her.

INT, SANA’S ROOM (EARLY MORNING)

Sana wakes up from cooker’s whistle unconsciously looking
and touching her neck and sees that her gold chain is still
there on her neck. Then she look at her hands which were
also good and ring was also there in her finger.
Sana takes a deep breath, wipes sweat from her forehead,
turn around and pick her cell phone from side table and
starts thinking.

Flash Back
Later night!
Sana was using her mobile phone, her mother calls him but
she didn’t listened.

MOTHER
“Sana my child at least help me in
some work”
Sana without listening to her mom stands up and went to
other room and still busy in her mobile phone. Whereas her
brother comes and said
SAAD
“Sis help me in doing my assignment”
Sana ignores him as well.
SAAD
“Sister???”

SANA
“Saad don’t tease me at the moment,
I’ll help you later in doing your
assignment”

Saad goes from there upset and Sana keeps her cell phone
aside and went to sleep.

Flash Back End

INTERIOR (BED ROOM)

Mother enters Sana’s room and says:
“Nice, look someone has woke up early, as you are awake now
come outside and have breakfast”
While saying this Sana’s mother keep a glass of milk on side
table and went from room
Sana washes her face and go out from her room and sees
everyone is sitting on table having breakfast.

SANA
“As Salam o Alaikum Father”
FATHER
“Walaikum as Salam my child, all
good? Why you woke up early?”
SANA
“Yes all of a sudden I woke up”

With a little smile Sana looks at Saad

SANA
“Saad there was some assignment you
were talking about”

SAAD
“Saad there was some assignment you
were talking about”
SANA
“Don’t worry, I’ll help you doing
it by today”

Mother comes from kitchen sits on a chair and says:

MOTHER
“Mash Allah! Today we all are
having breakfast together. How good
this is”

While everyone were having breakfast Sana realizes that it’s

important to spend some time with family. It’s also not good
to use cell phone every time. As she has also dreamt about
these things, she realizes that we should give time to our
family too and to limit our use of cell phones.
