multi-flavored stuffed snack that not only tastes like those traditional snacks you hate to love but also
packs purposeful nutrition.

Rivalz is on a mission to restore fun and positivity into modern snacking and mealtimes with next
level nutrient dense foods that let us live more in the moment and maximize tomorrow. Our game
changing snacks rival any traditional snack on flavor and provide a new way of thinking about
snacking nutrition. We're setting out to give those snacking goliaths a little healthy competition with a

The Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated, creative savvy and results-driven Brand Manager to join our
team. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, you will be a significant contributor in driving short
and long-term growth of Rivalz. You’ll be responsible for cultivating a strong community through
social media, events and other buzz building organic tactics. You’ll also guide the brand’s portfolio
expansion through commercialization of exciting new innovation and identification of growth
opportunities via new distribution, new consumers and new occasions.

Responsibilities Include
● Work closely with Director of Marketing to create and maintain brand identity,
storytelling, and how we show up in the world
● Partner with Director of Marketing to create and commercialize robust innovation
pipeline and develop market support plans
● Manage organic social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook,
with a focus on community-building and content creation
● Work closely with our social media partners to drive content creation as well as create
content of your own
● Create robust, growth-driving influencer and affiliate marketing program strategies
● Partner with external partners to own and grow email and SMS marketing channels,
ideating and implementing new strategies for growth and revenue-building
● Work with agency partners (digital, media, creative, social, PR, partnerships, etc.) to
bring brand plans to life, and keep the brand and company goals front and center in
each campaign and conversation
● Own customer support
● Execute a buzzworthy field marketing plan that gets more snacks in hands, driving both
brand awareness and conversion
● Manage and track brand performance, measure and report on the performance of all
marketing activities (ROI, KPIs, etc.) and recommend future tactics based on
conclusions
● Lead with brand mission and team first mindset while continuously prioritizing Rivalz
key principles

Required Qualifications

● Lives in Northern California. We are a California-based brand and we want someone


relatively close by who can attend events, activations, etc. If you don’t live in Northern
California, please do not apply.
● Who you are: a health savvy doer that’s really into the latest trends and digitally savvy,
loves trying new things, enjoys a good challenger brand, and prioritizes self-care.
● 3-4+ years in marketing for food/bev brand, preferably in start-up environment
● Familiarity planning and executing social media marketing campaigns as well as
content creation
● Experience managing agencies and third party vendors
● Experience with the commercialization process, launching new products, and
supporting launch with digital marketing tactics
● Strong eye and passion for creative
● Strength in both creative and analytic endeavors – can easily flip between tasks like
creative ad review and data analysis
● A flexible and entrepreneurial spirit – can do attitude
● Strong bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to handle complexity
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● You are a “Swiss Army Knife” of talents and are comfortable with the often fluid,
changing environment of a startup and want to make a positive and lasting impact
● Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.
