Topic: Job Interview

Interviewer: Good morning Ms Helen. Please take your seat.

Interviewee: Good morning sir/ madam. Thank you.

Interviewer: How are you today?

Interviewee: I am great. How are you, sir/ madam?

Interviewer: Great! So, shall we begin? Tell me about yourself.

Interviewee: First of all/ Firstly, I would like to thank you for giving this
opportunity to me. I am a Culinary Arts graduate from Tropicana
Academy. I have always enjoyed cooking ever since I was at the
high school. I am a cooking enthusiastic. My passion for cooking
led me to study culinary after high school, where I had
opportunity to master my cooking skills.
Interviewer: Can you tell me about your skills?

Interviewee: I have excellent knife skills and catering set up skills. During my
study, I have participated in few catering and buffet set ups for
dinner events. It was a great opportunity for me to experience
how to manage the event.
Interviewer: What is your strength?

Interviewee: I have a determined and disciplined nature. I always do work on

time. I am a very good team player too.

Interviewer: That’s great. Do you have any working experience?

Interviewee: Even though I am a fresh graduate, I manage to work as a part-


timer at a restaurant. I was an assistant cook, and I am
responsible to help the chef to cut vegetables and meat, saute,
grill and fry in the central kitchen.
Interviewer: Okay, good. Thank you Ms Helen. Soon, we will contact you.

Interviewee: Thank you so much for the time. I am looking forward to hearing

from you.
