Introduction

The designing an amplifier observes 3 key objectives for quality output and working;

 Maximise gain of the amplifier ; which is directly propotional to the collector current (Ic)
 Maximise swing ; which is directly propotional to Vce.
 Minimise reliance of Beta in the circuit design.

From the design;

Assumptions used in the design;

 The value of collector current is 10mA and its equivalent Beta is 75.
 The gain provided is both the voltage gain and current gain in Decibels.
 The circuit design parameters are taken under room temperature 25degrees.
 The value of the output impedance of the transistor (ro) is infinite hence its open circuited.

All estimated design values;

 Vcc =15volts C1= 56.59uF

 Vce=7.5 volts C2=5.305uF
 R1 = 5.5K ohms CCE=94.07uF
 R2 = 626.65 ohms RL= 750ohms
 RE = 75 ohms
 RC= 750 ohms

(c) Calculation of bandwith;

 BW = FH –FH
 Hence BW = 50000 -200 = 49800 Hz

(d) Estimate the voltage and current gain;

 Voltage gain(Av) =Vo/Vi

To get it in decibels ;= 20Log(Vo/Vi)
20Log Av= 20 hence Av = 10^1 = 10
This is same for current gain Ai =10

(e) Estimate the input and output impendance;

From above discussion the estimate Ri = RB//rpi = 140.65 ohms

Ro = Rc = 750 ohms

(f) Bode plot of the simulator is as above with FH = 74.93MHz and FL = 1000 Hz
