HAND-HELD SHARING OF BLESSING AND HOPE:

PHINMA-UPANG's College of Arts and Sciences Outreach Drive 2022

On Tuesday - PHINMA-University of Pangasinan Dagupan's College of Arts and Sciences conducted an

outreach program dated last 15th of February, 2022 at 2:00 PM for fire victims.

A sudden fire consumed humble houses along Arellano Bani, Barangay Pantal, in Dagupan City last
March 30, 2021. Many families are left victim. With their houses being ravaged on fire, all they can do is
pray and stare as their hard works lay waste as ashes before them. The PHINMA Students, together with
the faculty and academe staff, organized an outreach program to extend a helping hand to the
unfortunate victims of the said fire.

A total of 100 families were housed at University of Pangasinan's Student Plaza during the event.
Therewith, the assigned studentry graciously handed 25 kilos of rice per household. The said program
was led by NSTP Students, NSTP Coordinator, and College of Arts and Sciences faculty in partnership
with CSDL.,SSC, Office of the City Mayor, and Barangay Pantal.

The spirit of giving and receiving is very evident on everybody's faces. The academe and stundentry is
very delighted to extend their assistance through the NSTP Outreach Program. And, the locals are much
gratified with what they had received. Lots of "thank you's" and "you're welcome's" are exchanged,
pleasant on everyone's ears.
