Description:
◎:Failure elimination,After the main power supply switches from OFF-ON,operate MODE 2 to clear
TCD, and then return to normal operation.
○:Failure elimination,operate MODE 2 to clear TCD or after the main power supply switches from
OFF-ON, and then return to normal operation.
Because the failures found by the MICON system program can be ranked into five categories (A~E)
according to importance.
And the different Failure rank corresponds to different limited actions. The ranks are listed below:

10 A1 50B ON Failure ◎

Check 50B Relay should be OFF but this does not mean 50B Relay ON failure. Elevator should be

(2) When 50B Relay is off, 50B LED is off.
3. 50B Relay status Check:
The validation of 50B Relay’s lock, connecting point twist, fusing, and layout short circuit and so
on.
4. Arrange wire between SMPU PCB and FIOR PCB; Check whether MUD and FOD Connect has
poor connection.
5. SFIOR PCB Replacement
When the first item or the second item is abnormal but the fourth is alright, expressing SFIOR
contributes to poor Buffer, replacing SFIOR PCB.
6.SMPU PCB Replacement
After replacing SFIOR, if PCB is still running abnormally this a result of a faulty SMPU PCB.
Replace SMPU PCB.

11 A1 10T ON Failure ◎

Check When 10T main contactor is not off in time, expressing 10T main contact machine ON
Failure. In order to avoid low reliability of resisting system, elevator should be stopped

※Through operating MODE 22 to observe MX50B($CA01)、SX50B($CD21).

2. Voltage check of 10T main contact machine:


(1) The power of 10T main contact machine uses: the voltage between RECT FUSE and GD. →
DC 48V.
(2) When MZ10T is ON, the voltage between COIL (+) end and COIL (−) end of 10T main contact
machine is → DC 48V.
(3) During stop and open status, the voltage between COIL (−) end and GD48 of 10T main contact
machine is → DC 48V.

3. Status check of 10T main contactor:


The validation of 10T main contact machine locking, connecting point twisting, fusing, and layout
short-circuit and so on.

4. Arranging wire between SMPU PCB and FIOR PCB; Check whether MUD and FOD Connect has
poor connection. Arranging wire between SMPU PCB and FIOR PCB; Check whether MUD and
FOD Connect has poor connection.

5.SFIOR PCB Replacement


When the first item or the second item is abnormal but the fourth is ok, it means the SFIOR’s
contribution Buffer is not good, replacing SFIOR PCB.

6.SMPU PCB Replacement


If the abnormality still occurs after the replacement of SFIOR PCB, it means the SMPU PCB is not
good, and the SMPU PCB should be replaced.

12 A1 15B ON Failure ◎
When 15B contactor is not off in time, expressing 15B contact machine ON Failure. In order

2. Voltage check of 15B contactor:


(1) The power of 15B contactor: the voltage between RECT FUSE and GD. → DC 48V.
(2) When SZ115B is ON, the voltage between COIL (+) end and COIL (−) end of 15B contactor is
→ DC 48V.
(3) During stop and under open status, the voltage between COIL (−) end and GD48 of 15B contact
machine is → DC 48V.

3. 15B contactor status Check:


The validation of 15B contactor locking, connecting point twist, fusing, and layout short-circuit and
so on.

4. Arrange wire between SMPU PCB and FIOR PCB; Check whether MUD and FOD Connect has
bad connection.

5.SFIOR PCB Replacement


When the first item or the second item is abnormal but the fourth is ok, it means the SFIOR’s

Check After starting, the serial communication between SDC and SDA is unable to be managed.

(2) RXD light is slight illumination; the receipt is normal.
(3) Whether U39 IC of SDC PCB is properly inserted.

2. Check of broken wire of SDA communication cable:


The validation of broken cable or bad connection of communication cable.

3. Whether SDC PCB’s WDT on, off acts normally

4. Check of SDC PCB’s Power:


Whether the lamps of P22 LED and P5 LED of P48 LED are illuminated: light on →normal, light
off→ abnormal.

5. If the above clauses are normal, replace SDC PCB.

6. After replacement of SDC PCB, if it still cannot run normally, replace the SMPU PCB.

14 A2 Out-of-service of Sub MICON ----
Check Due to the reasons such as noise disturbance, the sub-Micon is suddenly broken, the WDT
Purpose lamp is off, and Elevator is forbidden to run because a failure has been found.
When unclear reasons cause sub Micon sudden break, after main Micon instantly checks and
Check forbids the elevator to run and after 2 seconds re-sensing whether sub Micon is running

than eight, then elevator will run normally again.

Inspection Items:
1. Check if the U32 and U33 IC of SMPU PCB haven been inserted properly, and if the lines and
parts are correct.

2. Verification of ON and OFF status of SWDT LED of Sub-Micon


Lamp ON → Normal, Lamp OFF → Abnormal

3. When the switch of main power is toggled between ON-OFF, verify the actions of ON and OFF of
SWDT LED of Sub-Micon.
If the SWDT LED can’t be started again (OFF), replace the SMPU PCB.

Check Due to reasons such as noise disturbance and the SDA is suddenly broken, the elevator is

1. Check if SDA/WEE785 (U34 IC over the SMPU PCB) has been inserted properly, and if the lines
and parts are correct.

2. When the No.1 item is normal, replace the SMPU PCB.

16 A2 Abnormal Main and Sub Parallel Communication ----

Check Due to reasons such as noise disturbance, the main and sub parallel communication is

Every 20ms, the main and sub Micon will communicate one time, and the sub Micon will

Inspection Items:
1. Check if the parallel communication of SMPU PCB and the Dual-Port RAM have been inserted
properly, and that the lines and parts are correct.

2. Re-download the EEPROM information of main and sub Micon.

3. When the No.1 item and the No.2 item are normal, replace the SMPU PCB.

17 A3 Abnormal Parallel Communication of SDA and SDC ----

Check Due to reasons such as noise disturbance, the parallel communication of SDA and SDC is
abnormal, and the elevator’s running is prohibited from preventing the error action of signal
Purpose and from increasing the reliability of the safeguard system.
After power-on, when the SDA and SDC reach the communication agreement, the
communication is interrupted or the communication inspection code has an error due to the
Check uncertain reasons of SDA and SDC such as Noise under the running status of elevator, SDA
Condition will try to reach the communication agreement with SDC, if the SDC has no response after 9
times of SDA Retry, it will regard as the parallel communication of SDA and SDC is

Inspection Items:
1. Check of SDC PCB’s Power
(1) If the 5P LED of SDC PCB is illuminated (lamp on/normal).
(2) If the 22P LED of SDC PCB is illuminated (lamp on/normal).
(3) Confirm if the P5V and P22V of SDC PCB are normal.

2. Check of Cage RX LED for SDA’s Communication:


(1) LED lamp doesn’t illuminate: Check if U34 IC of SMPU PCB has been inserted properly and if
there is a broken Cable.
(2) LED lamp illuminates slightly; receiving is normal.
(3) LED lamp illuminates brightly; the TXD cable connects reverse with RXD cable.

3. Check for broken SDA SDC communication cable:


Check if there is broken communication cable or bad connection.

4. It the above items are normal, replace the SDC PCB.

5. If it can’t run normally after the replacement of SDC PCB, replace the SMPU PCB.

Mode After the failure is eliminated, it will automatically restore the running.
Inspection Items:
1. TCD 19 is also being detected, directly inspect the TCD 19, and the below 2~6 items are free of
being inspected.
2. TCD 19 hasn’t been detected
The stop switch of cage top and stop switch of inside cage are cut-off, and confirm if PLS of top cage
is acted.
3. If the 50BC LED of SFIOR PCB is applied (Lamp ON→applied, Lamp OFF not applied).
4. Lay cables between SMPU PCB and FIOR PCB; check if there is bad connection of MUD and FOD
Connect.
5. If the above items are normal, replace the SFIOR PCB.
6. Replacement of SMPU PCB
After the replacement of SFIOR PCB, if there is the occurrence of abnormality, it means the SMPU
PCB is not good, and replace the SMPU PCB.

After the replacement of SFIOR PCB, if there is the occurrence of abnormality, it means the
SMPU PCB is not good, and replace the SMPU PCB.

During reverse detection (sometimes it is not the pure reversed running of motor), the

(2) PM Motor - According to the RE and motor wiring mode (It is defined as the exchange of U and
V if it is necessary to exchange the motor wiring) shown in the figure below.
2. Check the reversion detection at the maintenance site:
(1) Observe the steel cable on the Sheave - When the starting compensation is confirmed, check if
there is fundamental reversal at the cage, and if the running direction is correct.
(2) Check if there are abnormalities at the IGBT and BDCC of the main circuit, and replace them if
there is damage.
(3) Replace the SMPU PCB if item (1) and item (2) are normal.

(3) E1-3: Under the normal opening door, the Failure will be detected if the travel exceeds the maximum measured
travel.
When the door is closed fully under automatic operation status, if the belt of door machine is fallen or
broken, the motor of door machine will be idled always and cage door can’t be opened when the door
machine received the opening door command from MPU.
(4) E1-4: Under the normal closing door, the Failure will be detected if the travel exceeds the maximum measured trav
When the door is opened fully under automatic operation status, if the belt of door machine has fallen or i
broken, the motor of door machine will be idled always and cage door can’t be opened when the door

(5) E1-5: After power-off resetting and 100 times of retry of opening & closing door, it hasn’t finished the failure

hindrance from outside force or obstruction. If it hasn’t found the positioning of CLS and OLS, it will be

2. Over current Error
(1) E2-1: Over current is occurred when there is force-in of door stop-switch.
(2) E2-2: Over current is occurred when there is no force-in of door stop-switch and the door hasn’t been closed or
opened.
(3) E2-3: Over current is occurred during the running of door
The most common reason for over current of FB-DMC is the transistor Q1~Q6 has been broken, or IC
Failure of IR2130 or it is disturbed by the large current; or part of CLS or OLS has problem, it will be
divided as three categories to facilitate to judge the status when the over current is occurred to eliminate
the Failure.
3. Encoder, Encoder Failure, Motor Failure can’t be started and door machine is obstructed
(1) E3-1: Encoder Pulse hasn’t been changed when the door machine is not the position of CLS or OLS.

5. Check if there is problem with the door machine control.
6. Replace the SDC PCB if the above status is judged as normal.
