the different policies implemented by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the impact they had

Deal and how it helped to reduce unemployment and provide relief to those affected by the
Great Depression. Another area where students struggle to comprehend is how the various

modern society.

Ensure that students are given plenty of opportunity to research the different policies imple-
mented by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as part of the New Deal and how they helped to

plenty of examples and visuals to help students better understand the concept. Encourage

asks them to consider how the various programs created by the New Deal, such as the Social
Security Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and the Works Progress Administration, helped
to reduce unemployment and provide relief to those affected by the Great Depression. The
teacher can also assign a quiz to assess the students' understanding of the concepts discussed
in the lesson. It is important to provide students with feedback on their work so that they can
understand what areas they need to focus on and improve.

Be sure to ask questions often related to the common areas of struggle.
