LThe International Balloon Festival (FIG) is
an event that takes place in the city of
León in the month of November and that
manages to bring together hot air
balloons of different shapes, sizes and
recognized characters with a wide variety
of colors that illuminate the sky over three
days.
Currently, the FIG is one of the three most
important festivals of its kind worldwide, with
Bristol, United Kingdom, and Temecula Valley, in
the United States, being the others of great
relevance.

This festival has managed to bring balloons from 23

countries, such as: the United States, Canada,
Brazil, Spain, Germany, Holland and Mexico,
among others.
In the same way, among another of the
attractions of the festival is the presentation
of groups and music bands that make the
night something magical while the hot air
balloons light up the sky of the city.
