Product Description
Pneumatically driven fuel valve test units designed for testing of fuel-injection valves for
WÄRTSILÄ® 4-stroke engines.

NOTE:
This does not concern the common rail injection valves.

VPU 900 VPU 900-DF VPU 900-GD

The features are:

• Pneumatic/hydraulic pump – not a hand pump.
• Delivers up to 900 bar outlet pressure.
• Fuel valve locked in a rigid valve holder - adjust fuel injector opening pressure
with one hand.
• Flexible hose with quick coupling.
• Changeable pressure connector – use the VPU 900 with different fuel injectors.
• Closed injection chamber for a better working environment.

Installation Instructions
Unit and valve holder are assembled into one unit. No extra installation necessary. Unit
can be bolted to a table or packed away when not in use.

Special tool requirement

No special tools are required.

Diesel fuel engines

NOTE:
The “VPU 900 w. single valve unit” includes all necessary parts for testing a specific
injection valve. This does not concern the common rail injection valves.
For testing other injection valves an “Additional” valve holder set for the specific engine
type is needed, see table below.
