 During the third week of my On-the-Job Training (OJT), our trainer surprised us with individual

assessments that focused on assembling and disassembling computer systems, along with
troubleshooting them. This hands-on experience was invaluable as it honed our technical skills
and allowed us to become more adept at handling system units. Additionally, we delved into
computer setup procedures and learned the importance of properly harnessing cables for
efficient and organized setups. Under the guidance of Sir Leo Calumba, our trainer, we were
assigned the task of conducting an inventory of all the equipment, including items such
as UPS, AVR, and power supplies and more. This exercise required us to meticulously test
each unit to determine whether it was in working condition or not. The results of our
inventory were to be documented in Excel spreadsheet, a task that demanded attention
to detail and data entry skills.

In addition to hardware-related tasks, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in software-related

areas. I successfully created a bootable USB flash drive using the command prompt (CMD), enhancing
my ability to troubleshoot and perform critical system recovery tasks. Furthermore, our trainer tasked us
with the challenge of memorizing all the parts of a motherboard and understanding their functions. This
deepened our understanding of computer architecture, which is essential for any aspiring IT
professional.

Towards the end of the week, we ventured into networking concepts. We learned how to configure IP
addresses and explored the intricacies of peer-to-peer networking. Additionally, we delved into remote
desktop setups, which are essential for providing IT support in a business environment. These skills not
only broadened our technical expertise but also prepared us for real-world IT scenarios.

As a delightful twist to our week, the company extended an invitation for us to join their
"GLOWLYMPICS" activity. This opportunity not only offered a refreshing break from our technical
training but also allowed us to bond with colleagues and experience the company's vibrant
culture. Overall, the third week of my OJT was a dynamic mix of technical learning and team-
building experiences that will undoubtedly serve as a strong foundation for my future in the IT
industry.
