In my free time I was playing on this application called Duo Lingo, where I
practiced six different stages with twenty-five parts each and learned a lot of
vocabulary, did writing and put listening into practice.

This song is one of my favorites because it is by my favorite artist and because it

helped me a lot during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was in depression and I
identified with it. Now it’s just a nice memory and the song is beautiful from start
to finish.

In this scene, which is made by Jim Carrey, we see that he recovers his mask
and his powers return. Thanks to the powers of the mask he can fight the bad
guys who were in the bar and ends up taking out many weapons and rockets in
a very funny way.
He is The Weeknd and he is my favorite singer. I love his music so much that I
listen to it every day. The first time I heard him was in 2015 with the song The
Hills and from then on he became a fundamental part of my life. His songs are
beautiful and have helped me when I have been sad, they also make me feel
happy and inspire me to learn English to understand all of his songs.

He is Cristiano Ronaldo and he is my greatest inspiration as a footballer and

athlete. He is the greatest example of discipline, hard work and perseverance.
The first time I saw him play was in 2010 on my favorite team and from then on I
began to support him and admire his way of playing and his goals in every game.
In this scene we see Peter Parker (Spiderman) arriving at his girlfriend’s (Gwen
Stacy) house after saving many people in an accident, but arriving late for his
date. Even so, she receives him very happy and gives him a nice hug. I really
like this scene because of the way they show their love and their cute actions.

I had conversations in English with my friend Jennifer every so often so I could

practice writing. This helped us a lot for the first exam we had and where we both
passed it.

I practiced the past tense verbs on the Quizizz website with exercises and
questions. This helped me learn various verbs in the past tense and how to
conjugate them in affirmative and negative sentences and questions.
I practiced vocabulary in my sister’s book. I learned new words related to jobs,
objects used, and words like salary, experience, and qualifications that I saw in
English class.
This song is by Travis Scott. I like it because it talks about part of his life and
allows me to learn more about his personal life. I also like it because it is very
pretty and has different melody changes. Finally I like it because I identify with
several verses of the song.
