Understanding C
Descriptions:
- Sociocultural:
 On my sociocultural, I put my favorite
or my most used social media platform.
And those are Facebook, Messenger,
Tiktok, and Wattpad. I always use
Facebook, Messenger to catch up with
my friends social, to know what’s the
new trends, and to know what going on
in social media world. I used Wattpad,
and Tiktok for my other entertainment.
This is part of my sociocultural as this
already became one of the norms of
many people in our society now a days.
 I also input my hobbies or leisure
activities that I already practiced. Those
are playing piano, playing electric guitar
(mostly, bass) listening to classical
songs, and viewing arts museum or any
museum in general. This become one of
my socio-cultures as it already been
normalized to do in my family
hierarchy. I became fond on music as
I’ve been into piano when I was at the
junior high, since then I’ve tried lot of
instruments and love playing bass on a
band. For the arts and museum
- Cultures:
 For my cultures, I put the cultures that
until now is still being implemented
and practiced by my family and
friends. One of these is watching
traditional dances whenever there are
shows whose main goal is to
showcase Philippines culture. Another
one is serenade, since I was a kid. I’ve
wanted to felt the serenading /
ligawan and although I haven’t felt it
up until right now, I still like the idea
of it. Another is the jeepney, we all
know that PH’s culture already have a
jeepneys on it, it is a one of the
definitions of our culture, and up until
right now I’m still riding this vehicle.
Lastly, the famous sign of PH’s
respect to older. The pagmamano, and
up until now, I’m still in fond of
doing these things.
- Politics:
 In terms of my political background,
the government who governs me and
everyone in my community is the
Republic of the Philippines. And in
accord to this, I’m living in a
democratic country which meant that
the process in picking president or
people who govern us is by the votes
of the people of my country, I also
withstand with the proper way of
voting ang voting officials who can
serve the Philippines well who can
justify their words with their actions.
- Things I want to Change in
the Society:
 For the things I want to change in the
society, is:
1. The on-going corruption in the
government on in the
Philippines itself. I want these
unethical doings of those people
who took granted of their
position to corrupt or steal
money from people. Because of
this corruption, our economy
never improves and via
removing them it’ll benefit our
economy and country.
2. The stereotype of most people.
Because of these stereotypes,
many people became insecure
because of this standard that the
society created. With this being
changed, people can be more
confident with themselves.
3. Last is the inequality, I want to
change the inequality as many
people was taken away of
opportunity based on their
gender, ethnicity, races, status.
And with these being
removed/changed, everyone can
feel their equality and will have
more opportunity and live
without any hatred and trying to
conform to the society
