What we do

At Hope for HIV/AIDS International, we are proud to provide an array of essential services to
support individuals and communities affected by the challenges associated with OVC (Orphans
and Vulnerable Children) and HIV/AIDS. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering
compassionate and professional assistance in the following areas:

1. OVC Support:
We understand the unique needs of orphaned and vulnerable children and their families. Through
various initiatives and programs, we offer a range of services to ensure their well-being,
including access to education, healthcare, nutrition support, and psychosocial assistance. Our
goal is to empower OVCs to live fulfilling lives despite their circumstances.

2. HIV/AIDS Telephone Counseling:

Living with HIV/AIDS can present overwhelming emotional and psychological challenges. Our
trained counselors are available to provide confidential and nonjudgmental support over the
phone. Whether you need someone to talk to, assistance with managing medication, or guidance
on disclosure and managing relationships, we are here to listen and provide guidance.
Our Hotline is 080 33 484 595

3. Escort to Clinic:
We understand the importance of regular visits to healthcare facilities for HIV/AIDS
management and general health maintenance. Our dedicated team members and Community
Case Managers accompany individuals to clinics and hospitals, ensuring they receive the
necessary care and support throughout the journey. Our role as escorts is to provide comfort,
assistance, and advocacy during medical appointments.

4. Provision of PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis):

In cases where individuals have been exposed to HIV, we provide access to PEP treatment. PEP
is a medication regimen that helps reduce the risk of HIV infection after exposure. Our team can
guide you through the process, offering the necessary medications and support.

5. Holistic Home-Based Care:

We believe in providing comprehensive care to those living with HIV/AIDS within the comfort
of their homes. Our skilled healthcare professionals offer personalized support, medical
assistance, and counseling services to ensure that individuals receive the highest level of care in a
familiar and nurturing environment.

6. HIV/AIDS Contact Tracing:

To prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and support early intervention, our dedicated contact tracing
team works diligently to identify and notify individuals who may have been exposed to the virus.
By providing timely information, support, and access to testing, we aim to minimize the risk of
transmission and ensure that appropriate medical care is provided.
6. ARV Drug Uptake and Drop-off:
In collaboration with healthcare facilities, we facilitate the collection, distribution, and safe
delivery of Antiretroviral (ARV) medications to our clients. We understand the importance of
consistent access to medication for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Our reliable services
ensure that patients receive their ARV drugs promptly and conveniently, reducing interruptions
in their treatment regimens and promoting adherence.

7. Patient Adherence Services:

Adhering to medication schedules and healthcare recommendations is key to effectively
managing chronic conditions such as HIV/AIDS. We provide patient adherence services, where
our team supports and educates clients on the importance of consistently taking their prescribed
medications, attending medical appointments, and adopting healthy lifestyle practices. We aim to
empower individuals and enable them to take control of their health, leading to better treatment
outcomes and improved overall well-being.

At Hope for HIV/AIDS International, we are driven by our commitment to improving the lives
of individuals affected by OVC and HIV/AIDS. Through our comprehensive range of services,
we aim to promote wellness, empowerment, and social support. You can trust us to provide care,
guidance, and advocacy every step of the way.
