Description
Hebei Muyuan Pump Industry was established in 2005, and it covers an area of 75,000
square meters. It set up foundry shop, machining shop, assembly shop, pump research &
testing center.
Muyuan Pump focuses primarily on the production and supply of high quality slurry pump,
centrifugal clear water pump, and petrochemical process pumps. With an annual output of
8,000 sets of pumps, 20,000 tons of wear-resistant parts, which are widely used for the
mining, mineral processing, power plant, chemical and other industries.
With years of experiences in developing innovative wear resistance products for varies
industries, Hebei Muyuan offers excellence fluid handling solutions for mining, dredging,
mineral processing, chemical process and related industry.

Introduction
Series GY&GYU pump is a vertical, in-line design, fully compliant with API 610, GY is OH5
and GYU is OH3. This pump offers a space-saving alternative for many overhung process
pumps in upstream and downstream services, including cryogenic, high temperature, and
high working pressure services.

Pump Structures
Casing
The pump casing is designed with a vertical in-line, single-stage, end inlet and end outlet.
The suction and discharge flange is perpendicular to shaft. The various flange standards
such as AISI、ISO、DIN are available to meet different pipe load and customer requirements.
The rated pressure level of the suction and discharge flanges is the same, and their nominal
diameters are the same.
Impeller
The impeller is a single suction, radial flow, closed design. The impeller is dynamically
balanced, keyed to the shaft and secured by lock-nut and lock screw. Renewable wear rings
are press fit onto the impeller hubs (front and back) and positively secured with axial screws
or tack welding.
Pump Bearings and Lubrication
Series GYU adopts angular contact ball bearings, which can sustain heavy loads, including
pump load, rotor weight and instantaneous load, when pump starts. Bearing is installed in an
integrated bearing housing and lubricated by grease. The motor weight of Series GY is
wholly supported by pump. The motor is designed to sustain pump axial force as well as the
instantaneous axial force when pump starts.
Shaft and Shaft Seal
ISO 21049/API 682 seal chamber accommodates a wide variety of seal configurations
including dual pressurized and unpressurized cartridge types for the most severe services. A
full complement of API 610 seal flush plans is available.

Rotating Direction
The direction of rotation of the pump is CW when viewed from the driven end.
