ABSTRACT

Due to the volatile nature of the economy, the cost of construction materials has increased

significantly in recent years, causing major concerns for the construction industry. The limited

accessibility to these materials and equipment has also become a serious problem, resulting

in prolonged construction projects in both rural and urban areas due to budgetary problems

or issues.

This letter provides comprehensive information and details about the products and services

offered by SolidForge Building Solutions. Our company offers an alternative source of

construction materials and equipment at a competitive price, while maintaining high-quality

standards. We also supply the necessary materials and equipment that our clients need in

different locations throughout our many branches across the country.

4
1.0 INTRODUCTION

1.1 Purpose

This is a business proposal that centers around the sale of building supplies, including hollow

blocks, steel, and heavy-duty equipment. Our objective is to offer a unique blend of

affordability and quality that is unparalleled in the market. Our products meet industry

standards and are priced competitively to ensure our clients can afford them. We have

strategically positioned our distribution centers in convenient locations to cater to a wide

range of customers, including builders, contractors, and construction experts in the area. This

helps to simplify the process of acquiring the supplies they need to complete their

construction projects.

1.2 Problems

1.2.1 High Cost

The price of building materials in construction has skyrocketed in the past few years. The likes

of hollow blocks, steel, and heavy machinery are particularly expensive, thus contributing to

the overall increase in construction expenses. Since 2020, the average cost of construction

materials has gone up by 19%, accounting for roughly 82.5% of the total expenditure.

1.2.2 Limited Accessibility (Location)

Limited availability of building materials due to remote or isolated areas poses significant

challenges in the construction industry. The problem is deepened by insufficient infrastructure

5
in these isolated locations, which makes it more challenging to supply building materials in a

timely and efficient manner. This results in project delays and higher costs.

1.2.3 Decrease Quality Project

There are serious concerns about the deterioration of building materials, which could lead to

hazards and difficulties for the whole sector. The pursuit of cost reduction, where some

stakeholders may compromise on material quality to decrease expenses, is one contributing

reason. When these substandard materials are used, construction projects may not last as

long or perform as well overall, compromising the dependability of buildings and endangering

the safety of their residents.

2.0 DISCUSSION

2.1 IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE STORE FOR HOLLOW BLOCKS,

STEEL AND HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENTS

Because stores for these materials tend to be located far from most construction projects

which adds up expenses for transportation. Purchasing in this store provides room for

convenience.

SolidForge Building Solutions provides big purchases - big discounts with a free delivery

service located in the heart of the city. Through this, SolidForge Building Solutions provides

affordable, sustainable, and accessible stores for clients. In this way, decreased quality of the

project due to high costs and safety satisfaction and construction squandering due to

substandard materials will be lessened.

6
2.2 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

SolidForge Building Solutions conveys the creation of strong and enduring structures,

blending the solidity of hollow blocks and steel. "Building Solutions" indicates a

comprehensive approach to construction, encompassing the use of heavy equipment for

efficient building processes.

3.0 CONCLUSION

3.1 MAJOR CONCERN

As more and more buildings are erected in the vast land of rural and urban areas there is a

high demand for construction materials and equipment. However, as time passed the

economy has risen over the years, therefore, the cost of construction materials has increased

as well, because of this many turned to cheap alternatives to lower the expenses for the

construction, but the quality and safety standards of these materials are questionable at best.

That is why most buildings that were built with cheap and low-quality materials failed to stand

the test of time and eventually collapsed during a natural disaster. On the other hand, the

availability of affordable and quality materials and equipment is difficult to purchase in bulk

in remote areas, not to mention the expenses for logistics and transportation for these

materials and equipment to the desired location, thus, making the expenditure outgrow the

initial budget for construction.

3.2 RECOMMENDATIONS

To reduce the expenses for the overall construction cost, especially when it comes to materials

and equipment while retaining standardized quality at an affordable price, we can offer our

products and services to clients who are looking for materials and equipment at a reasonable

price, we can also provide delivery services to anywhere within our many branches

nationwide, we also provide rental services for different types of heavy equipment.
