ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We are pleased to have Dr. Martina R. Penalber as our representative from TESDA
Provincial Office. You don’t need to be worried about her presence because she is here to
oversee the conduct of competency assessment and to check if the conduct is in
accordance with the prescribed competency assessment methodology and procedures.
ATTENDANCE
Before I start, let me first check the attendance.
Please present to me your admission slip once your name is called and sign the
attendance sheet.

I have here with me your accomplished self-assessment guide. This is an indication that
you know and can perform all the units of competency enumerated in this qualification.
If none, I will now distribute the Competency Assessment Agreement sheets. Please
read the instructions carefully and answer all the questions outlined in the document.
If you need assistance, I will be more than willing to assist you.
I'm confident you're prepared to take the test after looking over your responses.
The first ten applicants will be evaluated in alphabetical order. The others, however, plan to
return as early as 8 o'clock tomorrow. You all have six hours to complete the task, after
which there will be a written test. In any case, don't hesitate to ask me if you need any
clarification on the particular instructions; I'd be happy to assist you and make everything
clear. Do we understand each other?
Now, moving on our do’s and don’ts, we have to observe safety standards especially the use
of the facilities and please set your cellphone in the silent mode or better turn it off and keep
it on your bags. Once the assessment is already started you are not allowed to go outside
more over talk to your colleagues while the assessment is ongoing because it is no longer
allowed. In doing the activity kindly wear your PPE and observe health and sanitary
practices. Observe social distancing and wear properly your facemask.
As your assessor my only role is to observe and right down what I have observe during the
assessment BUT as an assessor I have the right to stop the assessment if I saw untoward
behavior, especially if it can harm the other candidates or it may result to damage to property
or lives.
So, if in case you are not contended or satisfied with my decision and the result of your
assessment you have the right to appeal, you can simply right a letter to address on the
TESDA provincial office where I am accredited.
We will now proceed to our next activity. Okay candidates proceed to the area. We are going
to start the demonstration properly. The necessary tools and equipment are already provided
you just have to bring with your specific instruction.
Now proceed to the assessment area.
Please, always observe safety precaution in order to prevent accidents.
Your time is up! We already done on our unit competencies. Now let’s proceed to the written
test. Now settle down candidates and answer the test questionnaire provided on your desk
you are only given an hour to finish answering.

Since everything is complete, I will now endorse this to our TESDA representative. Ma’am,
here are the list of competent candidates and I am happy to announced that all of our
candidates today were able to passed the both demonstration and written test assessment.
Congratulations, you can now get your National Certificate of Competency from the
TESDA Provincial Office, on February 24, 2024.
