well-known cliches of slow-burn romance and hate-turned-love a much-needed
twist.

The characters of Laural and St. Bodie are realistic, relatable, and well-
rounded. Laural is smart but ordinary, funny when she wants to be and one of the
nicest female leads I have come across. St. Bodie James, however, is by far the
best male lead written on Wattpad and there is no debate necessary. He's polite,
kind, and an overall lovable character that one can't help but fall for. Even the
side characters have wholesome personalities, each having a distinct voice and
presence.

Touching on themes of feminism and mental health, this masterpiece by

Kate Merchant highlights the struggles of college life for ordinary people. The
story doesn't fall into one simple genre just as its characters don't fit into well-
known categories of bad boys and good girls. If you're looking for a wholesome
