Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo established the upscale brand M.A.C. Cosmetics in 1984. Soon after
it was first developed only for professional makeup artists, consumer products were added. The
massive cosmetics company, MAC Cosmetics, also referred to as M·A·C, was established in Toronto
in 1984 by makeup artist and photographer Frank Toskan and salon owner Frank Angelo. With its
headquarters in New York City, the company joined Estee Lauder Companies in 1998. The two
worked out of a kitchen in Angelo's hair shop, with Toskan serving as creative director and Angelo as
director of marketing. Vic Casale, a chemist and Toskan's future brother-in-law, also joined.

blackpink’s lisa drops first makeup collection with mac

since Lisa from Blackpink launched her solo career with her chart-topping
debut single "Lalisa." Now, the K-pop star is making another launch: her first-
ever collection of cosmetic products with Mac Cosmetics.

The rapper's glittering and sparkly stage attire, which includes her
go-to lip colour for performances, Mac's Powder Kiss liquid, served
as inspiration for the 11-piece collection. She also developed and
gave names to three entirely new lip formula tones for the collection:
Pink Roses, Swoon For Blooms, and Rhythm N' Roses. A 12-color
eyeshadow palette called "L,"
