Activity
A.Write about your self
Korean culture and American culture are sometimes similar, but they
can often be very different. In Korea, people often ask very personal
questions, even if they are meeting the person for the first time. However,
in America, if you don’t know the person well, you should avoid asking
personal questions. For example, In Korea, when you meet someone for
D
the first time, you will often ask, “How old are you?” is a rude question,
especially if you are meeting the person for the first time.
ㅇ
Here are some other questions that you should NOT ask foreigners:
,
*What’s your religion?
…
첨
Basically, try not to ask too many personal questions. They can make
some people uncomfortable. As Americans become better friends with
people, they feel more comfortable talking about their private lives.
So if you meet an American for the first time, don’t ask too many
personal questions. Even though we are in Korea, we should remember
that American culture is different, and they might not be used to Korean
culture yet.
