RESOULTION NO. 1, SERIES OF 2023

A RESOLUTION ON THE OFFICIAL LIST OF VOTING MEMBERS AND NON-
VOTING MEMBERSOF MAPULA NATIONAL HIGH- SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL
(SGC).
WHEREAS, the MAPULA NATIONAL HIGH- SCHOOL GOVERNANCE COUNCIL
(SGC) met on November 15, 2023 to discuss the importance of the SGC for the continuous
improvement of learning outcomes and in the educative process as a whole.
WHEREAS, each of the individuals who reflected above was oriented on their
respective roles particularly to serve as a part of collective and consultative body for school
plans, programs, activities, and strategic directions. They are fully aware that their respective
role will cultivate the spirit of bayanihan among stakeholders to support the school and
encourage active participation of the stakeholders in the implementation of DepEd policies
and programs, while promoting equal opportunity for all regardless of age, gender, disability,
marital status, ethnicity, and religious beliefs.
WHEREAS, the participants chose their secretary and co- chairperson according to
D.O. 26 s. 2122. Thus, in the presence of the faculty and school head, they were able to
comprehend the roles of the SGC Officers and members, and they promptly elected them.
WHEREAS, the SGC bears the name of the school and is a school organization in
nature, it does not have a separate and distinct juridical personality apart from the school.
Thus, the new set of SGC officers voted majority that the SGC of Mapula National High
School will bear the name of “Mapula National High School- Supreme Governance Council”.
WHEREAS, the MATATAG agenda integrated in the Annual Implementation Plan
2023 were presented and explained to the new set of Mapula National High School- School
Governance Council Officers.

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to respectfully request the Office of
ELMA PLAZA- DE CASTRO, School Head of Mapula National High School to approve and
recognize the SGC of the said school.
WE HEREBY CERTIFY THE CORRECTNESS OF THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED, this 16th day of November, 2023 at Mapula National High
School, Brgy. Mapula, Paquibato Dist., Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines.
