The electrical department meeting was held on September 22, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the electrical department
conference room in Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering.

Mr. Puneet Kumar chaired the meeting and the meeting started at 10 A.M.

Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order by the electrical department chairman at 10:00 A.M.

1. Welcome and introductions. All the electrical department staff and students were
welcomed and introduced by the coordinator and the HOD.
2. Review of previous meeting The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and
minutes approved by the electrical department chairman.
3. Discussion of upcoming electrical The Electrical Department Chair reviewed the upcoming
department events and activities events and activities for the department. These events
include the annual Electrical Engineering Career Fair, the
IEEE Day celebration, and the student-led electrical
engineering conference.
4. Discussion of new electrical The Electrical Department Chair discussed the new electrical
engineering courses and programs engineering courses and programs that are being developed.
These new courses and programs will focus on emerging
areas of electrical engineering, such as renewable energy,
artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
5. Discussion of faculty and student The Electrical Department Chair discussed the faculty and

sources, including government agencies, industry partners,
and private foundations.
6. Discussion of department budget The Electrical Department Chair reviewed the department's

questions and discussion. The faculty and students asked
questions about upcoming events and activities, new courses
and programs, research projects, and department budgets.
8. Next steps and adjourn The Electrical Department Chair summarized the next steps
and adjourned the meeting at 11:00 AM.

Action Items:
 The Electrical Department Chairman will send out a follow-up email with more information on the
upcoming events and activities.
 The Electrical Engineering Faculty will develop a proposal for new electrical engineering courses
and programs.
 The Electrical Engineering Students will begin planning the student-led electrical engineering
conference.
