    A moving coil instrument has a resistance of 5 Ω and gives a full scale


    deflection of 10 mv. Show how the instrument may be used to measure
    a- voltage up to 50 v,
    b- current up to 10 A

    1- Build the circuit in LTIspace and give value of the current Im, v(Rsc) and
    V

    Exercise 2:
    A moving-coil instrument has a resistance of 75 Ω and gives a full-scale
    deflection of 100-scale divisions for a current of 1 mA. The instrument is
    connected in parallel with a shunt of 25 Ω resistance and the combination
    is then connected in series with a load and a supply. What is the current
    in the load when the instrument gives an indication of 80 scale divisions?
