IV. PROCEDURES

A. Introduction The teacher presents the pictures that the pupils will describe to review
what is adjectives.

The teacher presents another set of pictures to be compared base on their


description in sentence form.

The teacher asks for volunteers to be in front of the class to be compared


using an adjective such as how tall they differ from each other.

B. Development
The teacher presents a chart where there is an example of each of the
three degrees of comparison namely; Positive Degree, Comparative
Degree, and Superlative Degree.

The teacher discusses the definition of each degree of comparison.


The teacher discusses the Degree of Comparison and using them in a
sentence

The teacher let her pupils group into three.

The teacher let each group compare the adjectives based on their degree
in a sentence.

Group 1: A list of adjectives to be compared using the three degree of


comparison.
Group 2: A set of pictures to be compared using the three degree of
comparison in sentence form.
Group 3: Give five adjectives, compare them using the three degree of
comparison and use them in a sentence.
C. Engagement The teacher ask
Why do you think there is a need for us to compare things, persons,
animals and places?

The teacher let the pupils present their work in front of class.
The teacher critiques the work of each group and identify the mistakes
and right things that each have made. And provide a proper response to
each.

D. Assimilation Teacher presents set of pictures to identify adjectives to be compared


using a chart and use them in a sentence form.
