"Ang taong matalino'y ang may pag iingat sa bawat sasabihin; matutong ipaglihim ang
mga dapat ipag lihim."

My interpretation of the statement I've picked is that a person with a mind or intellect
thinks before speaking. Consider whether it will benefit you or others, whether it will
harm a relationship, or both. not the impulsive statement that you will later regret. This
sentence also made it clear to me that there are some things we have that should only
be kept a secret if someone has discreetly handed them to you. If it's a secret that only
you and the person who told you his secret should know, you shouldn't tell others to
make them look good on you.

For example:

The proper thing to say when a friend confesses in you about a problem is to be careful
with your words and advise; consider his emotional state before speaking. If someone
tells you a secret, keep it to yourself and don't tell anyone else about it since a secret
cannot be termed a secret if it is not kept. You were trusted of, so you should guard the
trust that has been placed in you.
