OUR MISSON

Our primary aim is to improve the efficiency of management of rights and the conclusion of
bilateral agreements.

distributing payments to performers’.

SOCO stands to protect and support copyright and related rights of performers, scriptwriters
and directors in Turkiye . We exist to collect,manage and distribute royalties on behalf of
rightholders entitled to payment from broadcasting or copied around the World.

WHOM DO WE REPRESENT

We believe that creators and artists like everyone else, should be paid fairly for their work,
and the public should be able to enjoy a variety of services that provide creative works. The
best way to ensure this can happen is through collective management.

WHY SHOULD YOU WORK WITH US

When a performing artist (musician, actor, dancer, vaudeville or circus artist) takes part in the
performance of a work, and if that performance is recorded and then broadcast or copied, the
artist in question is entitled to a remuneration/fee. In other words, the artist acquires a
neighbouring right at the moment of the performance.

This remuneration is a compensation for the fact that once recorded, the music and
audiovisual works you have participated in as a performer can, in certain cases, be exploited
without your consent.

These remuneration rights are subject to mandatory collective management and must be
managed professionally to avoid any loss of rights.
OUR TEAM

CO FOUNDER – Efe OĞUZ

Efe, graduated from Mersin Çağ University in 2013 and also pursued further studies at
London Metropolitan University in 2015 in the area of Sports Law. He holds a position as a
board member of the Turkish Basketball Federation and serves as the General Secretary of the
Institute of Sports Law. Additionally, he contributes his expertise as a member of the
Advisory Board at Çağ University's Faculty of Law and he is a member of the Istanbul Bar
Association.

CO- FOUNER- Dilara SASA

Dilara, graduated from Bahçeşehir University and started her career in 2013. She holds two
LLM degrees, one in Private Law from Özyeğin University and another in Commercial Law
from Kingston University. Currently pursuing her JD at Marmara University. She has
experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, and
copyrights. Dilara has worked with Turkey's leading management, PR and press relations
agency “ID” for 2 years and since then she has been advising actors and actresses, producers,
media companies.

JUNIOR PARTNER – Aleyna SEMİZ

Aleyna is a dedicated lawyer From Kadir Has University with a profound passion for
copyright and intellectual property law. Understands the importance of protecting artistic and
literary works. She is eager to make a meaningful impact by safeguarding and promoting the
creative and innovative endeavours of the clients. With an unwavering commitment to
interests of the clients, she brings a fresh perspective to the legal field and assists creators,
