UAV Service Partner Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual, with a strong desire to learn and the ability
to lead. This position is for a UAV Service Partner cum Flight Engineer, with exposure to building and
flying sUAS (RC Multirotors and Fixed wings). See the detailed job description below.
Responsibilities for UAV Service Partner:
UAV Maintenance:-
● Hands on experience on manual calibration, online troubleshooting and software Updating in
hardware components
● Work experience on doing desoldering, soldering operation of electronic components and circuit
boards.
● Able to do the debug activities in UAV assembly with basic checks and circuit tracing activity.
● Maintain & follow Work Instruction sheet provided by the OEM for the sub- systems and
complete system Knowledge on handling electrical/mechanical test equipment like multimeter,
vernier, drill machine, revert tool etc.
● Knowledge on safe handling practice for electronic handling, ESD safety, etc.
● Familiar with using manual crimping tools & adjusting its settings.
● Maintain the record of all the tooling/equipment and stock of spares at Service station
● Collaborate with R&D debug specialists for resolution of any issues faced in hardware
components or software and drive till conclusion.
● Initiate training with QA team for Solution implementation (provided by R&D) on field and
further train the field support team online/offline.
● Material management – Quarterly forecast of servicing material for maintenance. Material
requisition & record keeping. On time scrap disposal as per OEM guidelines.
● Collaborate with QA debug/Programming specialist for resolution of issues faced in UAV and
drive till conclusion. Lead the training activities for new technicians and conduct on the job
training.
● Maintain and drive aggressive “5S” & Safety @ work.
● Ability to multitask, set priorities and manage time effectively.
● Email communication with internal stakeholders and external customers on repair status Phone
and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
● Maintain a positive attitude while dealing with a variety of problems and applying creative
problem-solving methods
● Anticipate customer needs by studying services, products, and proper customer processes and
procedures
● Have full working knowledge of the service associate handbook in order to respond to every
customer inquiry with confidence
● Record all customer and end-user calls in order to improve service and products provided by the
company
● Monitor customer problems and needs to anticipate inquiries and respond to issues immediately
as they occur
● Understand how to use the company knowledge base to prepare for each customer interaction
while taking detailed notes
● Prevent the escalation of customer issues by collecting and analyzing information provided before
interacting with the customer
UAV Service Partner Job Description
● Greet customers in a friendly manner and offer to help in whatever way required to maintain
positive company image

UAV Flying:-
▪ Plan, supervises, and also participates in activities of personnel engaged in Digital sky inflight
testing of air navigational aids, air traffic controls, communications equipment, and also sites of
proposed equipment installations
▪ Schedule coordinates inflight testing program with ground support crews, air traffic plus military
personnel to assure ground tracking, equipment monitoring plus related services
▪ Conduct regularly scheduled & special flights to test equipment under all types of flight
conditions including adverse weather, using both manual automatic controls
▪ Prepare evaluation reports of flight activities reviews reports prepared by Facilities-Flight-Check
Pilots
▪ Recommend promotion, transfer, and also discharge of personnel authorizes leave
▪ Recommend purchase, repair, or modification of equipment.
▪ Pilot UAV or Drone, at low altitudes, over agricultural fields to dust or spray fields with seeds,
fertilizers, or pesticides
▪ Pilot aircraft over field, or drives to field, or studies maps to become acquainted with obstacles or
hazards, like air turbulence, hedgerows plus hills, peculiar to particular field
▪ Arrange for warning signals to be posted
▪ Notify livestock owners to move livestock from property over which harmful material may drift
▪ Pilot aircraft to dust or spray fields with seeds, fertilizers, or pesticides, and also observes field
markers as well as flag waved by Airplane-Pilot Helper agriculture on ground to prevent overlaps
of application to make sure coverage of field
▪ May be accompanied by property owner when piloting aircraft to survey field
▪ May specialize in application of pesticides and be designated Pest-Control Pilot agriculture .

UAV Service Partner Job Description
What will be your Responsibilities:
▪ Developing and maintaining a productive long term relationship with your customer
▪ Acquire deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
▪ Acquire an in-depth understanding of shoppers, categories and market
▪ Adapting and optimizing country commercial guidelines to your specific client
▪ Negotiating contracts, promo plans and innovations
▪ Preparing volume forecast and plans

Collaborating very closely with teams from other departments;


▪ Resolve any issues and problems of your clients and act as a link between your customer and the
internal teams.

Eligibility & requirement for UAV Service Partner


● Bachelor's or master’s degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Other relevant engineering fields.
Relevant Experience: 0 - 8 year
● Recent Passport size photo
● Identity Proof, Aadhar, Passport or Driving License
● Copies of your educational & Experience certificate or UAV Logbook
● Bank Details or Cancel Cheque
● UAV Pilot License & UAV Details with UIN Number
● Complete understanding of the UAV system
● Knowledge of RC aircraft/UAV-Multirotor/Hybrid VTOL dynamics, control & flight operations.
● Able to diagnose problems.
● Find solutions to issues and fix them.
● Repair/maintenance/resolve issues on prompt time.
● Documentation for system testing & other repairing works.
● Experience in design/construction/assembly of UAVs.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
● Expert knowledge of UAV configuration, performance evaluation, payload integration, autopilot
tuning & repair.
● Knowledge of UAS hardware, software & sensors.
● Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
● Must be comfortable being on the service floor and on your feet for six to seven hours per day or
sitting down for four-hour increments
● Must be able to lift 25Kg or less in order to properly serve customers if required
● Working knowledge of Windows computers, basic programs, and the ability to perform basic
troubleshooting when needed
● Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, taking advice and
instructions from the leadership team
● Email knowledge to guarantee proper and professional communication between service associate
and customer
● Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish
rapport with the customer
● Understand necessary internet security measures and follow safety protocols at all times while on
the floor or on the service associate computer
UAV Service Partner Job Description
● Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and
face-to-face customer service interactions
● Demonstrated ability to work with a team in a productive fashion while always improving
listening and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in a customer support role.

Field visits for carrying out Preventive & Corrective maintenance.

Work Hours: Vary on Project to Project; Day or Night with Travel time 30-40%
Reimbursement: Dynamic; vary on project and location, Agriculture: Per Acre; Surveillance/Inspection:
Full/Half Day and hourly basis. Minimum Business ₹2,00000 to ₹18,00000 Per Annum including
variable payment.
