https://de.ryerson.ca/games/nursing/maternity/prenatal/game/#/

Madison Fraser (Maddy) is a 21 year-old-female who has moved back home to Toronto from Vancouver. She
had been feeling tired and was urinating frequently. She had a positive pregnancy test result after seeing a
doctor in a walk-in clinic. As you met Maddy, she was having her first prenatal appointment. Before meeting
the nurse practitioner Sue Huang, she is assessed by you her nurse.
The goal of the simulation game is to reach the end of the story by answering as few questions as possible. If
you answered all questions correctly, you would reach the end of the game after answering 12–13 questions.
If you had a summary score of 13 or more questions, you are able to play the game multiple times to improve
your score.
Reflecting on this virtual gaming simulation, the following questions are related to your experience while
engaging in the simulation. There are 9 questions. It will take you up to 60 minutes to complete the questions.
We encourage you to use your simulation summary report to support your reflection. These questions will
guide you through a facilitated reflection on your virtual gaming simulation experience. The questions will help
you express your reactions, analyse issues, reflect on your performance, and make connections to future
clinical practice.
