SAP Manager Job Description

Major Roles:

SAP manager provides SAP functional and technical expertise,

including future SAP strategy, to the business development team,
solutions team, and projects.

Position Posting – CEL Kharagpur Plant

SAP Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

- Serve as the key intermediary between the vendors and a variety of
internal contacts.

- Provide financial analysis, expense modelling, spend analysis and

reporting in order to identify cost saving opportunities and cost
increase avoidance strategies.

- Assist project teams to gather requirements and translate

requirements into designs that leverage existing solutions where
practical.

- Ability to assess change drivers, translate them into viable projects

and identify threats & opportunities.

- Build and project manage day-to-day execution of plan for Solution

Build.

- Coordinate all delivery resources and ensure appropriate subject

matter experts, analysts and system specialists are assigned to
deliver solution.

- Work closely with PM to ensure design and delivery meet

expectations.

- Advise and monitor quality of solution deliverables.

- Ensure design issues and options are clearly articulated and

communicated in order to reach the right conclusion with
demonstrable audit trail.

- Reporting of progress and cost against plan and Review items on

weekly/monthly basis.

Skills for SAP Manager:
